While I love my robber baron couple, I don't want Bertha to forgive George easily for icing her out. I want them to come back from this stronger and on equal footing which means actually working their problems out and not just throwing blame at one another.

I'm btw happy that we got an actual reason for Turner to consider another marriage. I hadn't thought about her lacking the connections to stay in the high society.

I wonder if the zoom in on the Laudanum is a hint at a possible addiction storyline for George.

To clarify: a credit card, in the US at least, allows you to spend money that you may not currently actually have, meaning you take that purchase on as debt and pay it back to the bank later. (As opposed to a debit card, where you can only use money that you actually possess.)
We ask your questions anonymously so you don’t have to! Submissions are open on the 1st and 15th of the month.
#if I say credit card I mean an actual one#the one that directly accesses my account is a debit card#or if I'm speaking German an EC Karte or a Girokarte#also because most German stores accept EC but fewer accepted credit cards#big retail takes them#but with restaurants and small shops you should always ask whether they even accept credit cards

Did u know that (most) adults were once teenagers
Did u know that sometimes when adults write about teens having sexual thoughts, it is because—*gasp*—we remember what it was like to be a—*whispering*—minor?
Did u know that I had crushes on adult people like teachers? And I also knew what sex was before I turned 18? And also I wanted to have sex?

*Obviously year group sizes vary, but it would be too difficult to expect everyone to estimate percentiles. If your status varied from year to year, select whichever you feel is most relevant.

#schools do that?#I think the only thing they really recognize here is if you graduate with the highest score#otherwise I guess I was somewhere in the top 10 or maybe top 20 in my year of roughly 100-120 depending on the year we are talking about#there were some who really put in an actual effort and obviously scored much higher than me#while I just cruised through it#guess if I actually studied and put work into it I could have competed with the top scorers#but a good horse only jumps as high as it needs to#there wasn't any support for giftedness anyway#guess I could have done something with my talent for math#but I never did#instead I decided to annoy my friends and teachers

Best Dressed The Gilded Age Lady - Vote

I'm in the mood for another Best Dressed vote and since I love The Gilded Age, whose third season ends on Sunday, I thought why not go with their extravagantly dressed leading and supporting ladies?
Tumblr unfortunately limits me to only twelve options, so if you are missing your favourite, comment them below and I will see to make an extra post about them. I decided to exclude those ladies who have only been part of one season (so far) which then lead to my list of 12 ladies. The options are in alphabetical order of their last name as to not influence the voting with a possible bias by me.
