we as a society do not talk enough about how ed canonically plays the piano!! in my head he's one of those ppl who's really good at playing by ear, he listens to a song once and can play it. he's probably good at other instruments too, he can sit down with a mandolin and have it figured out after a few hours of tinkering. a harp? basically just a sideways piano. woodwinds are a little bit of a different beast but once he works out the mouth stuff it's fine (and you know he's good at mouth stuff). music's the same shit once you figure out the mechanics of different instruments. ed "I can do anything" teach is a musical genius
