Before we park our new-to-us redneck tiny home for the first time we had to stop at the car wash and rinse it off… our friends are waiting for us to pull up so we want it to look it’s best.
I sure am glad that I could pull through these car wash stalls… otherwise we would have been stuck and living at the car wash. Lol.
A friend of ours agreed to let us park our redneck tiny home in his back yard, temporarily, while we do some work on it. That way we can hook up electricity while we’re working and we will be able to leave it for days without having to worry about it.
We don’t have a ton of work to get done but we will have to totally gut and redo the bathroom due to some water damage. Then we’re gonna check around for anything else that may need some maintenance or repair and I want to paint the cabinets.
This is so nerve wreckin’!! Since seeing a tiny home I thought I would love living in a small space but you don’t realize how much stuff you really have until you move and I had to get rid of a ton of my stuff and will probably need to downsize even more before moving in. I just have to remember that I can’t take any of that stuff to my grave so let it go. Less anxiety once I do anyway, not sure why I fight it. Lol

Guess what I have back there? A lightly used, new to us, Cherokee camper AKA our first home together!!
I was driving and fa-reaking out!!… for a couple of reasons.
One, neither me nor my boyfriend had any idea what all we would have to do to get it move in ready and two, I had NEVER pulled a camper before.
