“i’m terrified, of what you’re capable of. because you’re here, walking on a razor-thin line. i’ve been afraid ever since i met you, when you looked me straight in the eye and broke down my system in a matter of minutes.”

Aaaand the title reveal for the 4th and final LEGEND novel is……REBEL!!! 💜✨💜✨ Full link with details in my bio. Of course, the actual cover is yet to come—but I am digging the purple so much. (Yes, it is a direct reference to Eden’s eyes, which have retained a permanent tint of violet from his childhood injuries.) . . REBEL is set in Ross City, Antarctica after the epilogue of Champion, told from the dual points of view of Day and his younger brother Eden, and features June and several other old faces from the original trilogy as well as some new players. This story has been sitting in my mind since the end of Champion, but it took me a long time to understand why I wanted it to exist. How do you move on from the trauma of a revolution? How do different people cope, and how do you heal without pushing each other away? How do you find love and joy again? It’s a story about Eden’s struggle to find himself in his famous brother’s shadow, of Day’s yearning for a love he thought he had lost, and of a pair of brothers with a bond that is tested again and again. Yes, there will be a reunion of Day and June after the events of Champion’s epilogue….and there will be a definite conclusion to their love story. . .Again, the link to the full book summary is in my bio. I know many of you have asked me about this book over the years. I’m excited to finally share it with you all this October. 💜💜💜 More reveals to come! @fiercereads https://www.instagram.com/p/Btd64hEALbB/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=4tm7lyjuau7g

You’re not a shitty person just because some people don’t acknowledge you or appreciate your worth. You matter. You are loved. You’re not defined by what other people think of you. Better yet, why define yourself at all? A definition has limits and boundaries. Seek only to grow, expand, evolve, and change. The right people will persist in your life or appear in due time. Love yourself; focus on yourself; take care of yourself; radiate love, goodness, and kindness; seek knowledge; express gratitude daily; pursue the things that tug at your soul. All else will follow. You’ll be alright. Keep your head up.

Finally!! The words in this were based off of Hiccup’s narration in the first book of the How to Train Your Dragon series by Cressida Cowell. I’ve been working on this for a few months now (on and off) and finally just finished it for the Dragons 2 release. Happy flying for those who are going to see it!!! :)
I had to oddly compress everything because of Tumblr formatting x__X make sure you click the 3 mini pictures after the first/second panel!!!
