So I finally got my first set of sprites for the game, and I also have a name, Dragon Revival. This is an idle stance for Kaji, and this took over 2 months for the artist to make. It was worth the wait, though, because the sprites look good.

So this is part of an experiment I'm conducting for Kaji. See, I want to give him those flaps of muscle that you'd see on a T-Rex in Jurassic Park, but I've never seen people make emotions with them, even with reptilian characters. So that's why I'm conducting this experiment. I'm biased for the one with the jaw muscles, but what do you think?

These are not men in suits, they're actually mechs. These machines are called Spartans. These are machines founded by a military scientist. They're based on mecha from various anime, especially an anime called Armored Trooper Votoms for their maneuverable rollers. These machines use a variety of different weapons, from autocannons, to blast cannons, to ballistas (giant crossbow sniper rifles), to flamethrowers, to spears. They also have a side arm called the Xiphos, a magitech conductive short sword with a shape that's based on the real sword that Spartans in Greek history used.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and Anime Part 2: Kirby

So sorry I haven't gotten around to doing this. Been depressed as hell and have been working hard. Now, I have the motivation to do this second part.

This time, we're covering the 2nd character in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate's roster: Kirby! Kirby does, in fact, have his own anime, and it's one of the more well-known ones compared to Mario's anime, even more so because it was dubbed in English by 4Kids.

Kirby of the Stars, or Kirby Right Back at Ya! in English, is an anime that was made in collaboration between HAL Labratories and Nintendo.

The anime starts off with Kirby sleeping in his star ship but receives a warning and crash lands into Popstar, into the country of Dreamland. In the series, there have been legends of Kirby being a Star Warrior and saving Dreamland of Nightmare. King Dedede, on the other hand, is jealous and suspicious of Kirby, so he wants to drive Kirby away by ordering monsters from Nightmare Enterprises. Kirby fights these monsters and inherent abilities from various items he sucks up.

While this isn't Kirby’s first anime, it is an incredibly popular one (even more so because I watched it), and some of the games did inherit some of the traits from the anime. For example: King Dedede's castle in Kirby’s Squeak Squad is based on the design of the castle from the anime, and when you fight King Dedede, you will see the Monster Machine also from the anime. Here’s another one: In one episode of the anime, Kirby gains a water ability. Water Kirby never appeared in any of the games until the Kirby Wii game.

I'm hoping to get the next part out sooner, so stay tuned.
