Listen yes Jayce's devotion and all that, but can we talk about Viktor's? Because Herald Viktor didn't know why Jayce was killing him. And then, even though he removed his own humanity (or so he thought) he still tried again and again and again to get Jayce on board.

He said "let us do this as partners" even after Jayce killed him. And Jayce said no, fuck you, my partner died, and yet still the Herald was "glad to be seeing him" and didn't kill him even though he not only had the chances but also many reasons to do so.
