Why did you choose the name ‘Jacobs Ladder’?

If to talk from the very begginig~ @razzzletazzle have written a fic based on one of my old doodles, and gave it a name - "Jacob's ladder"

The name itself has plenty of meanings (and one if them is related to the Rise series itself), but the main one that I am using is based on a biblical story. A ladder leading to heaven that was featured in a dream the biblical Patriarch Jacob had during his flight from his brother Esau in the Book of Genesis.

"You're" is a shortening (combination of You and Are), yes! I feel that not shortening it puts more emphasis on the "are" part and gives more weight to the sentence. That's how I use it at least! I think you using "you are" in Leo's lines works perfectly! Makes what he's saying feel more important than the quicker "you're"

Grammar advice!

Instead of ‘you are’ use ‘You’re’

So where Leo said ‘now you are you.’ Say it like ‘now you’re you’

Just a friendly tip from a native English speaker!

I have a problem with my head that refuses doing something until it has more explanation why

"You're" is like a shortening, yes? ("You are" also is used in polite form?) Than I can use "you are" when I don't want to use shortening, I wanted Leo in this scene to say it separately, more like "You are... you", he says all of them separately and clearly, I didn't want him to say it "you're you", it sounds quick, not how I expected him to say, is it still wrong or I can make it like this?

and i love it because leo isn't in the mirrior void [or what ever it is] anymore

he's already out

but he continues to mirror donnie anyway

until this moment

at this moment he recognizes and is shocked to see donnie

and it is such a small but beautiful transition

because we don't see donnie's face

only leo's

so maybe donnie's face is showing the same emotion

but a little later the shock is still on leo's face and donnie still looks pissed

donnie isn't going to let his brother go without a fight

but leo didn't expect it

This is 100% canon and happens at some point in Replica I just don't have anywhere to stick it since things are going to shift gears at the end of this chapter!

Honestly Mikey would not have been bothered at all with CJ being crowned as best hugger. But when he found out that Omega was trying to keep it a secret from HIM he wanted to poke the bear and get a reaction out of the normally unfazed AI. Too bad it backfired. Also for the record, Mikey is on the "Raph was the best hugger" side of the argument, and they know Raph liked Mikey's, thus the stalemate.

Wanted to share this silly little doodle with you thinking about the turtles meeting and my first thought is Leo would actually be really excited to have more twins and brothers

Something that I kind of enjoy is when different iterations of TMNT end up sort of paralleling each other

Leo: He should've been back by now, knowing Raph he's probably gotten himself into some kind of serious trouble

Raph: Leo probably talked his way straight into Big Mamma’s dungeon

Something that I find kind of funny is that both the 2003 cartoon & Rise ended up making a sort of similar kind of joke only Raph & Leo's positions are kind of reversed in Rise.
