I saw this kiss prompt and thought “what if I drew all of them”

“It was too close…”

Keith is not good with consolations, but there is heaviness pressing on his chest and his heart is breaking along with Lance’s voice. He wants to speak. He wants to embrace him even if his arms don’t have their strength back. When he finds his own thoughts - his words are instinctive and voice is still rough, squeezing through a clogged throat.

“…Everything is alright now, Lance, you did good.” He swallows. “ You saved me, see? I’m alive. It’s all over.”

Lance’s heartbeat hitches and his hold tightens. It makes Keith glad he is alive for more than one reason.

Lance: you look like my first husband

Keith: …

Keith: Lance none of us have even graduated from the garrison you aren’t married

Lance: no, not yet

Keith:

so anyways last time i made keith and lance in the sims and left them on free will and lance quickly preformed a series of insults after learning keith’s traits and obtained “win a fight with keith” as his only wish and then I switched to keith who had all his wishes empty except one lifetime wish “get married to lance”

Keith and Lance Are Very Happy Together

Look, since Lance’s arc was about romance in the end, I just want to point out that at the beginning of his romance arc he sits on the Black Lion with Keith and watches the sunset when he’s worried about dating Allura.

And during his date with Allura, he brings up Keith again when someone else talks about possibly dating him.

And then in the middle of dating Allura, when stuff is rocky, Keith again supports Lance and they reflect on THEIR relationship together.

Where they hold hands.

And squeeze their hands tightly.

And finally at the end, after Allura has passed, they sit next to other and have matching jackets and flirt over dinner

If JDS and LM say that Lance eventually moves on and that they left Keith “open to interpreation” and 

1.) Hunk is with Shay 

2.) Shiro is with Curtis,

3.) Acxa seems to have a thing with Veronica 

4.) Pidge doesn’t seem to be an option 

Then the ONE person he most likely ends up with is LANCE.

I don’t know how else to shake this out for you guys but Keith and Lance are the only viable option post-canon. There was no reason to include Lance’s relationship with Keith during his romance with Allura (or to not just have Keith and Acxa paired up) if that wasn’t the case.

Nights — or whatever they’re called here in the timeless void that is the Quantum Abyss — are often the most difficult to endure.

“In sleep, your mind will be even more susceptible to visions,” Krolia explains a bit ominously over the sound of crackling firelight. “They will come to you like dreams — or nightmares — whether you want them to or not.”  

And, somehow, Kosmo seems to understand the weight of this concept; as well as any sentient space wolf can be expected to, that is. He hears it in the somber strain of her voice, the way her words burn around the edges with something both tired and fierce. He sees it in the rigid posture that grips her shoulders, and the way she stares — unblinking, unseeing — off to the side, where rain is falling in heavy sheets just beyond the mouth of the cave.

But, mostly, Kosmo sees it in Keith.

Keith — his human — who is always so sweet, so gentle, with the way he murmurs into Kosmo’s silky mane, and always so diligent, so generous, with his belly rubs and ear scratches.

Keith, who now sleeps on the damp ground, folding in on himself like wounded prey, shivering beside what remains of the dwindling campfire.  

Kosmo pads his way over, tail drooping miserably between his legs, licking the wetness off of those tear-stained cheeks. Keith stirs — flinches, more like — from the touch, and Kosmo whimpers, just a mournful winnow of sound, because he doesn’t know what to do or how to make things better or how to stop the pain.

So he curls himself up against Keith, feeling his human’s back rise and fall with every ragged breath. Kosmo hopes that his fur is warm enough to keep him from shivering. He hopes that his company is comforting enough to protect him from —

“Please…”

Kosmo’s ears perk up, twitching attentively.

“Lance, please,” Keith mumbles, voice fragile like glass. “Don’t leave —”

Keith’s entire body convulses with a sob, and Kosmo whimpers again, crying for his human, nuzzling himself closer.

He hopes it feels as nice as a belly rub.
