some self care sigils. not really made to be charged and used in magic, just sigils for sigils sake. (it’s nice to have symbols in your life)
number V can be read as “don’t take shit from others” or “don’t take shit from yourself” or both, if you want. it works for each.

Stones are used in Divination methods such as pendulum work, scrying, and obviously rune stones, but certain stones can amplify your psychic ability just by being near them, making them perfect for anyone seeking to work with any method.
Popular Stones:
Pendulums:
Quartz: Quartz amplifies, focuses, stores, transfers, and transforms energy. Assists the holder in the creation of power. Clears the mind. Enables the holder to influence matter through thought. Connects the physical and mental and synchronize them with the heavens. Allows the holder to receive information from higher planes of existence and spirits. It is associated with the number four in numerology and it has no specific Zodiac associations.
Amethyst: A type of Quartz, thus exhibiting its qualities as well as others. Often referred to as a spiritual stone, it provides a sound connection between our plane and others. It enhances the individual’s ability to synchronize their physical and spiritual abilities. It opens the mind. Associated with three and the Zodiac Signs Virgo, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces.
Rose Quartz: Again, the qualities of Quartz of course applies to Rose Quartz. This stone is calming and reassuring, and thus popular due to its abilities to clear the mind. It balances and attunes the workings of one’s mind and body, opening the holder to the rest of the universe. Associated with seven and the Zodiac Signs Taurus and Libra.
Scrying:
Quartz: See Pendulums.
Apophyllite: This stone makes a strong, conscious connection between the physical and spiritual planes. Apophyllite stimulates the holder’s intuitive abilities. It also enables one to pinpoint and act upon the truth of a situation. Looking into Apophyllite from the side one is said to be able to see the future. Associated with one and the Signs Aries, Gemini and Pisces.
Diamond: Diamond is a strong stone for psychic and intuitive work. It opens the mind to higher levels of thought by clearing out any distractions or confusion. It also helps one to reach enlightenment. It is associated with nine and Aries, Taurus and Leo.
Obsidian: Obsidian is a very good stone for finding quick and blunt answers. It is capable of enhancing psychic abilities, especially precognition. It has been used to contact the spirit world and other planes. It is associated with the number one and Sagittarius.
Rune Stones:
Quartz: See Pendulums.
Rose Quartz: See Pendulums.
Onyx: This stone can cleanse the holder, opening them to the universe and guidance. It initiates the process of centering and alignment within an individual. It helps one both see the future and realize the past. It is associated with six and Leo.
Bloodstone: This is a variety of Quartz, meaning it has the qualities described of pure Quartz as well as others specific to this type. It balances and aligns the energy within the holder. It opens paths of communication with the spiritual world and ancestors of the holder. It also opens the individual to universal truths and stimulates their intuition.

50 Tips for Tarot Novices and Masters Alike!
Always make sure your deck is shuffled and cleansed.
There is no one way to shuffle, find what works for you.
Cards that fall out when you’re shuffling may hold extra important meaning.
Learning from books is good, but use your own intuition as well.
Thank your deck after a reading.
Be sure to charge your cards and be nice to them.
Using a cheat sheet or a book is not a bad thing.
Biddytarot is great for learning basic card meanings.
If you don’t have a tarot deck, you can use regular cards or make your own.
Tarot and Oracle are NOT the same thing.
There are a few tarot apps to help you learn (golden threat, galaxy, etc)
Watch for multiple cards from one suit.
Pay attention when a card follows you through multiple readings, it is usually trying to tell you something.
Find the card that matches with your birth-date/you feel a significant connection to. Use it in personal readings to help strengthen them.
Always be sure you’re using a deck that works for you!
Pay attention to the symbolism and art of the cards.
Interview spreads are great for getting to know a new or old deck.
Divination is not specifically witchcraft and is not always tied to it.
Don’t let anyone but you touch your cards unless doing a reading and you want them to touch them- messes with energy.
If someone besides you does touch them, make sure to cleanse.
Decks have different personalities, don’t be bummed if one doesn’t work out for you.
Be prepared for a deck to get sarcastic and give out riddles.
Keep a journal/notebook/google doc of different spreads. You can even organise them by type.
Daily draws are great, but don’t knock yourself if you can’t do them every day.
Meditating before a reading can help gain clarity.
An easy way to cleanse your deck is to put them all in order then shuffle them again.
Flash cards are good to memorise meanings.
Bonding with your deck can help readings be more accurate. An easy way to do this is sleep with them under your pillow.
Cleansing/charging your deck can be as easy as leaving them in a windowsill, or as intricate as a ritual.
You can have as many or as few decks as you want.
Making your own cards does NOT make you less of a diviner.
Readings are not set in stone, take them with a grain of salt.
Reversals are not always bad.
Upright is not always good.
The death card does not mean death.
Keep a journal to record your readings.
Try to remember one keyword/idea for each card to help you learn.
Make sure your deck fits in your hands comfortably.
If you’re just starting out, use simpler spreads.
Past/present/future is great for beginners.
Amethyst is a good stone to have around.
But, letting your deck choose it’s favourite crystal is also important.
Using a tarot cloth can help keep unwanted energy off of your deck, especially if divining in a public place.
Tarot bags are easy to make, just find a drawstring bag tutorial and edit the measurements to fit your deck.
Playing music while doing readings can help you focus.
It’s okay to redo a reading if you don’t feel it’s right, but keep the first one in mind.
If you practice witchcraft, you can use tarot in various spells.
You don’t have to read reversals!
If tarot doesn’t work out for you but you still want to use divination, try other forms such as oracle, scrying, pendulums, cartomancy, and more.
Practice!!!

Recharge after Readings🌙
Here are some ideas to help you get some expended energy back after divination!
✨Eat something that makes you feel good. Some of my favorite post divination snacks: Avocado toast with hemp hearts, fruit, homemade soup.
✨Read a book or watch a tv show. Just make sure it’s relaxing to you. Something suspenseful won’t help as much.
✨Make yourself some tea. Chamomile with lavender is my favorite to help me recharge and relax. You can use any blend that you like.
✨Turn on some upbeat music you enjoy. Sing! Maybe dance around a bit, if you’re into that.
✨Take a shower or bath. Soak up the energy from the warm (or hot) water.
✨Meditate. Even 10 minutes of meditation after divination can help. And sometimes it can provide further insight after especially difficult readings.
✨Diffuse some essential oils. Lemon and orange always help me feel more energized.
✨Drink water. Hydration helps everything.
✨Add to this list anything that helps you recharge after readings. You can do one of them or many. Don’t forget your energy is valuable! If you are feeling especially drained, try taking a nap if you can. Treat yourself 🌷🌷🌷

New Home Floorwash
This is recommended for a preliminary cleansing when moving into a new home. This removes old vibrations and emotions lingering from past residents and allows you to begin with a fresh slate.
Make a strong infusion from basil, hyssop, and pine needles.
Strain and add to a bucket of rinse water, with vinegar.
Cleanse floors and surfaces as needed.

I don’t really know what people generally call this method of sigil making, so I’m just calling it “Letter Shaping” because you’re using the basic shapes from certain letters. This is the most common form of sigil making, and it allows the most creative influence. As you see above the sigils are for nearly the same thing, yet the sigils came out completely different. Not because the purpose was different, but because I approached them both a different creative way, and that’s what I like so much about this method. There’s a lot of freedom and personalization involved.
(UPDATE: Here’s a link to a guide on how to deconstruct letters down to basic shapes)

Who told you that goddesses were thin?
Brighid keeps the cows,
And cows are heavy work—
She’s all shoulders, hips, and thighs,
Strong for the lifting.
Her heart remembers the son she keened for,
And so does her belly.
 -
Stretch marks strike across Hera’s skin,
Lightning tattoos,
Fitting symbols of eternal loyalty.
Forever marked a wife, a mother,
Not a marble statue.
On the shores of her birthplace,
Aphrodite comes up dripping,
Breasts heavy, hips rolling like waves.
In Mauritania she overflows:
Fat (no hiding from that word,
No shame)
Cascades from her arms,
Rolls over her middle,
Puckers her thighs.
On every beach she has cellulite—
She is goddess of beauty,
Not goddess of the impossible.
Everywhere, she is adored.
 -
Inanna, Queen of Heaven,
Feels no need to diminish herself
When the entire sky is hers to occupy.

May The Bridges I Burn Light My Path
Tumblr media
Simple spell to weed negative people from your life:
Best time to do this: New moon
Tools: Incense, fire proof container, a hot shower
Take your incense to the bathroom and light them (if safe). While taking a shower, imagine the smoke and water working to cleanse you.
The water is washing away physical debris while the smoke is cleansing your soul. Now, think about the positive people in your life.
Compare how they’ve helped you to how negative people have brought you down. Think of how much better your life would be without the negativity.
Sometimes it’s negative thoughts instead of people. We want to burn those bridges as well.
The ashes from the incense can be saved for black salts.
