You know how Crowley specifies that Aziraphale calls him whenever there is trouble or something good happens or he’s bored (so he calls him all the time, Crowley, get the hint darling) and now Aziraphale is in Heaven and…
How many times will he want to pick the phone up and realise… he can’t call him. Or he will try and Crowley will not pick up. He’s so used to him being there for him, always.
He’s managed to put in a suggestion box! He needs to tell Cr… oh.
He’s so bored. There is no books, no music, no familiar being hanging around to drink wine with. He needs to call… oh.
Oh shit. Oh shit. The Second Coming is trouble he needs to tell… oh.
I think Aziraphale will have a huge realisation how much he actually depended on Crowley. How used to him he is. For him to just be there. From just hanging around to helping to saving him. Especially in the last few months.
And suddenly he’s nowhere close and Aziraphale does not even know where he is.
And he remembers Crowley saying he lives in his car and it hits him that he could be anywhere and he doesn’t know and WAIT WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU WERE LIVING IN YOUR CAR and it clicks for him how many times Crowley actually suggested it to him and Aziraphale said ‘no’.
You remember Jane Austen? Yeah. I'm not gonna forget her in a hurry, am I? The brains behind the 1810 Clerkenwell Diamond Robbery. Brandy smuggler. Master spy. What a piece of work. She wrote books. Novels. Jane? Austen? Yes! Whoa, bit of a dark horse. Novels, eh? Yes. They were very good.
