Algeria* - Barbary Partridge
*Algeria plus Gibraltar
This funky little guy has an awesome haircut!
Native to North Africa, this bird decides that it would rather run than fly away from threats. Surprisingly, it's of least concern, so clearly those legs are pulling a lot of weight. It should come to New Zealand, it would fit in well here!
Being a game fowl, it has the plump stature of others like it. The members of its species residing in Gibraltar as they've had to deal with military exercises and an increasing number of feral cats and dogs lurking near their nesting ground.
Good news for them, though, a fund working for the clearing of their nesting ground, the captive breeding and release into the wild has been set for these guys, so their presence in Gibraltar will still be around!
I will give this bird a 6/10, the main reason being that I am jealous that the Barbary Partridge has wings that it barely uses while I have no wings, but come on, can I be too upset? Look at the silly guy!

Afghanistan* - The Golden Eagle
*Afghanistan plus Albania, Germany, Mexico, Romania and Scotland
Alright, the Golden Eagle. The first national bird of this series.
This fella is the biggest bird of prey found in North America, and they take the title of one of the fastest, too. It's also the national bird of five different countries, so it's gotta be a pretty great bird.
It's known as the Golden Eagle for its golden plumage found on the back of its head, which gives it a rather nice touch.
The Golden Eagle falls under least concern, so you don't need to worry about this guy going extinct anytime soon.
Now, for the rating;
It's a pretty nifty bird, but I think all birds are cool.
I give it a 7/10. It's a nice bird, the wingspan is magnificent, the golden crown it adorns adds a lovely accent, but I feel it is not a unique pick; six Countries thought, "neat, this is my National Bird now," and it is one of many eagles.

I will try my best to add image IDs, but I have never done them before so they may not be good.

Oh, and some places may have the birds I'm mentioning as their National Animal, but I won't include them here, as I'm looking for specifically the National Bird.
Yeah, it's rather redundant, but I would rather not go through every Country's National Animal to include everything.
But, if someone is certain, I will be willing to make a change!
hi !!
I am Door i really like birds, my favourite type of bird is anything from the Corvidae family, and the crow is my favourite my main blog is @bongbongsupremacy
There may be inconsistencies with my posts, I have unpredictable mood swings, so please bear with me
I'm going off the list of countries national birds on Wikipedia because I'm kind of dumb and cant manage the info on my own National Birds List [I've decided that I will do all countries, including Palestine, even if sources like Britannica won't recognise it as such]
The birds will be rated by looks, coolness and things that make them unique from other birds

Do note that both Palestine and "Israel" are mentioned on the list. despite the fact that Israel is not a country and should not exist, I will still include its bird. I think it's a funky little guy and is not at fault for the genocide.
