I don't "bury your gays" yes I kill gay characters, and couples. but I also kill straight characters, and couples. and children, sometimes even newborns. and they all die indiscriminately for the plot, I don't give a shit about their sexuality. i give a shit about how their death will negatively affect other characters and positively affect the plot. the more developed they, and their relationships are the better I *do* genuinely hate that trope,and try to avoid it. and sometimes the lucky couples get to live. and most of the time they're queer. but more often They. All. Die

Inej would be the only one who would know Zoya's love interest for Nikolai, although the raven would have had a hard time getting the grisha to talk about her feelings.

When Zoya became queen, the palace gates would always be open to her best friend.

They would know everything about each other.

Zoya would always be talking bad with her about Kaz, she wouldn't think he deserved her.

Recently realized that I haven’t annotated my “six of crows” book, so I’m currently rereading it. And the thing that surprised me the most is Inej, because apparently she’s not as nice and kind as we portray her.

Yes she has more conscious than Kaz, but she’s still sus!

So I’m also thinking about De Kappel that they stole, and my guess is that it was Inej’s idea, so it probably went like this:

Kaz*sitting in his office minding his business, reading a paper*

Inej*bursting through the window*: Kaz!! There’s a merch who bought a De Kappel today

Kaz*very much not interested*: Merchants buy paintings all the time, Inej. Most of them have paintings that worth more than De Kappel

Inej: I’m not proposing to steal it and sell, that’s boring!
