any protestants who veil? i've been interested in purchasing a veil to wear to church and at home during prayer.

y'know, i don't think much about the fact that i can't bear children. i know i'd name a girl Marla Lynn, and i know i'd name a boy Dominic (unsure about the middle name), but that's about it. it doesn't dominate my thoughts. it's just a shadow in the back of my mind... but i wonder sometimes, and it's sad.

because of my mental illness, i can't carry a child to term. i can't. that would require getting off my medications, and that would result in unimaginable suffering. i have a severe case of schizophrenia and an equally nasty case of depression, and without the pills - well, i'd be a danger to both myself and others.

i know we're called to be fruitful. i know. but i can't. so please pray for my peace. pray for my sorrow.

becoming a Christian means swallowing some hard truths. Hell is real. being a "good person" isn't enough to get into Heaven - and people aren't even good! not without God. this reality makes it hard to break down and fall before Christ. i know. i've been fighting Him for years. but you have to let go. you have to accept that earthly wisdom is useless. you have to submit to God.

acknowledge Him in ALL your ways. not just when it's convenient.

It's so hard seeing people with warped understandings of God and Christianity spreading nonsense about the Bible and What Christians Believe And I remember that I used to do that and be like that and I am sad because I know there is no approach that would have worked for me, I had to have an experience of God on my own and discover Truth the hard way
