Well first of all, he cares so deeply for his child, and encourages them with almost anything

He may go out with you to gather ores that can be made into paints if you want (like how Starsilver Ore can be made into silver paint)

Any piece of art you give him? He’s putting up in his office at the funeral parlour

Proudly shows your art to Hu Tao and Childe a lot of the time (he’s a proud dad)

Definitely askes those two for Mora to buy you any art supplies you may want or need

“Childe, would I be able to borrow some mora?” “Huh? Oh, does (name) need more art supplies? Say less”

He definitely got Childe involved in encouraging you as well

If you wish to make a career out of it? Well he IS the God of Contracts, be can definitely pull some strings and also give you advice

However he’s going to encourage you all the same as if you didn’t

If you ever feel insecure about your art, he’ll gently pull you aside and tell you that your art is wonderful

I imagine in this Au, Xiao works at the Funeral Parlour and has to go pick up flowers from Venti’s shop for the ceremonies

Usually, it’s Zhongli who comes to pick up the flowers but as he was busy Xiao was sent instead. 

“Ah! A new customer! What kind of flowers would a fine gentleman like yourself be purchasing today?~” 

Xiao has to take a moment because Zhongli had not warned him of what he’s like, but eventually managed to get out that hes there to pick up the order 

 Venti immediately goes to the back and hands it to him after a short “Oh.” but hes definitely keeping an eye on this guy

After a few instances of meeting via this way, They grow attached to one and other, and I imagine Xiao getting to see the sombre side of Venti while he organises bouquets and Venti seeing Xiao soften via outside of work shenanigans 

Venti hints and hints at liking Xiao via pointing out flowers and their meanings but he’s oblivious to it 

Eventually it dawns on Xiao; OHHHH WAIT I LIKE HIM TOO

Emotional Support Zhongli has to listen to them both rant about each other 

Xiao pops into the shop one day with a Cecilia flower and hands it to Venti claiming to have remembered it as his favourite 

Venti obviously accepts and immediately prepares a bouquet of Roses, Cecilias and Qingxin for Xiao

He also constantly makes flower crowns for him all the time

Hu Tao definitely teases Xiao 

“Hmmmm? whats withe the flower crown and the smile on your face?” “Shut up” 

Venti loves coming up with various flower (and music) related nicknames while Xiao sticks to Baobei and Venti’s name

The nicknames always fluster them both though

Sleepy cuddles while Venti should be watering plants

“Blossom, I need to get up for the morning-” “mmmm Five more minutes, Baobei” “I- okay”
