Perhaps this is surprising to some or expected to others. But I'll probably leave the fandom after the last episode comes out.

Despite all the problems in this community, I love in every possible way all the creativity that is present here and it is just heartbreaking that this event will most likely mark the end of the Undertale Au's fandom as a whole, genuinely and completely. It's so depressing that a project so full of passion will probably come to end just because some jerks couldn't touch some grass and stop harrasing people on the internet. Futhermore, perhaps this may sound a little selfish or ridiculous but this community has also helped me with a lot with problems in my personal life.

I may have already mentioned it here on this blog, but i am on the autistic spectrum and this fact defines all aspects of my life, including the way i interact in this community. I'm afraid that this fandom has been a very big scape away from the reality that i currently live in for the past 5 years or so. For the record, i don't understand people, i can barely understand them, i can't maintain eye contact or engage in back and forth communication styles, i can't be afraid too much stimulation without having a meltdown/shutdown, i'm either treated as the absolute weirdest but also a big fucking burden to my parents (no one wants a disabled kid to take care of, i'm afraid).

Despite everything, this fandom has helped me a lot in accepting parts of myself and making me distracted of my conflicts in life. And It's true, the single thought of all of this being taken away makes me very sad.

i just, i just need a moment to think about my life from now on.
