i cannot be the only one who thinks hazbin hotel highlights teenification really well. it says it's for adults, it markets itself towards adults, and yet the writing is something a 14 year old could come up with. it is so clearly not for adults. it's for teenagers who think they're cool and edgy by watching something targeted towards adults. adults are not the main people you see in the hazbin hotel fandom when it SHOULD be attracting adults, it says it's for them and the show reminds you of it constantly. but it's not appealing to the audience that it markets itself towards from the beginning by choosing a lazy and immature approach to comedy and storytelling that a actual adult would not find funny, not to mention vivzie writes her characters like she's writing fanfic in the early 2010's. it is mind boggling.

writing with adhd is difficult because you enter a scene and go "okay, gotta introduce relevant details now. what's the first thing people notice when looking around a room" and you imagine it in your mind and the first thing your mind' eye sees is the brightly colored mug on the desk.
