"I see..." said the vampire thoughtfully, and slowly he walked across the room towards the window. For a long time he stood there against the dim light from Divisadero Street and the passing beams of traffic. The boy could see the furnishings of the room more clearly now, the oak table, the chairs. A wash basin hung on one wall with a mirror. He set his brief case on the table and waited.
"But how much tape do you have with you?" asked the vampire, turning now so the boy could see his profile. "Enough for the story of a life?"

sick of pathologizing our favorite characters. “This one has anxiety, this one has ADHD”
we need to expand our diagnosis. Mario has acid reflux. that guy from Supernatural has herpes. Wonder Woman has a UTI. we have the power here

edwin payne is the character of all time. he’s an edwardian ghost. he’s gay. he has zero charisma but every man wants to fuck him (except the one he likes). single raised eyebrow. eurydice allegory. he doesn’t know what a handjob is.

louis staying with the man who orchestrated the murder of his daughter for over 70 years just to spite his ex-husband and lestat deciding to let louis find out on his own about his new husband trying to kill him, breaking his own heart and torturing himself in the process too, just so he could say ‘see I was right’ 70 years later,, this is the toxic obsessive failmarriage representation we deserve

the best part about wei wuxian's resurrection scene is that it happens when the audience doesn't know anything about him yet, so when he goes "i'm going to act like a deranged homosexual lunatic so no one recognizes me" you're like yeah sure that could be a feasible disguise until the flashback happens and you realize it's a terrible idea, because wei wuxian acts like a deranged homosexual lunatic all the time
