wrenn, what have you been doing lately? where have you gone?

to put things simply, IRL has been taking a lot out of me on the daily.

I just got hired at Cinnabon a little over a month ago, but I had a falling out with my step father ( who abused me my whole life, I finally gained the strength to walk away ) who was my primary ride to work and back. I work 5a to 1p but I don't get home till 4:30ish because my lovely boyfriend picks me up from work now.

my boyfriend and I are celebrating our year anniversary tonight. we usually eat dinner / get takeout. we watch youtube until we fall asleep. we hang out, smoke, and relax.

my cat has been messing in the house a lot, won't use the litter box anymore, and I'm so scared I'll have to rehome him because of it. he's in the basement where it's warm but in a confined space because he will quite literally shit everywhere and urinate everywhere. we don't know why, nor do we have the funds to take him to the vet. we barely have been making ends meet with how in debt and how bills have been hitting us all at once.

just... life has been really hard. I'm trying to be active and regain muse but I haven't felt safe enough to let my brain wander. it's been hard, and I've got no hobbies right now. there's a lot of variables as to why I'm feeling these things, but... it's been really hard.

to those who've given me the grace to still be on their dash despite being gone - thank you.

Denki was in the kitchen of the 1-A dorms, making a hotdog, though at closer inspection of said hotdog would reveal that the meat was cut open to act as a 'bun'. As he had shredded up an actual bun and stuck it inside to act as the 'meat' of said hotdog as he started squirting ketchup, mustard, and relish over the top.

"....and done..." He grinned, picking up the hotdog. "I call this a 'dothog'."

wrennly. so it's come to my attention that one of my friends have been told that they're too enthusiastic about their writing ( as told by a former moot who then blocked them ). and all I can say?

let them fucking choke on it, babes.

be enthusiastic and passionate and excited for your writing. be excited to hop into DMs and don't be afraid of "scaring" people.

I'm not saying spam them with messages or harass them - but don't let yourself cut yourself into chewable bites. the right people will eat it up with vigor and the wrong people won't even try.

if you weed out a few weak ones, its whatever and you'll be happier later on. do what makes you happy on your blog.

Wrennly. Updates below.

First day at Cinnabon went well! My manager was pleased with my performance, and really… it didn’t feel like I was working. It felt like I was being babysat and I got to play baker all day. I’m the only Cinnabon worker, so I’m having fun and doing my own thing. Kept me on track when my mind wanted to veer off in other directions. Now I started at 7am and tomorrow I start at 5am so I’ll have to be in bed by 11 at the very latest.
