Glad I'm going to the eye doctor Monday so I can get started on dealing with my photophobia. I've tried to deal with my migraines as the root cause but nothing has helped. My photophobia flares seemingly whenever it likes and is constantly a problem at work to varying degrees. It's not severe, thank goodness, but it really sucks! I have to wear sunglasses inside! Get your shit together, eyes.
Anyone have any suggestions? I'm gonna talk to the eye doctor about fl-41 lenses but whether or not they're an option at home, I likely can't have them at my manufacturing job.

Hello, 👋

I am Heba Al-Anqar, 21 years old, a university student. My university was suspended due to the war. I am writing about my family: my father Bakr (54 years old), my mother Alaa (46 years old), and my sisters Aya (18 years old), Amal (15 years old), Muhammad (13 years old), and Maryam (8 years old). We have faced many challenges in this war, from the destruction of our home to the famine we continue to suffer in northern Gaza.
My father suffers from heart problems. He had open-heart surgery when he was 36 years old. He also suffers from cartilage problems. He had his pelvic joint replaced about two years ago, in addition to other health problems. He cannot work due to his health condition.
My mother also suffers from asthma and shortness of breath, in addition to the difficulty of obtaining treatment due to the conditions and the war.
This is our house, which was destroyed by war
We have become homeless in places of refuge, in addition to the difficulty of obtaining medicine, food, and daily expenses
I created this account to request your help in this difficult ordeal by donating to meet the necessary needs, as we were relying on social assistance before the war.
My goal is to help my family live in safety and provide the necessary necessities for living, as there is a high cost of living and difficulty in obtaining necessities. We ask for your help in leaving the Gaza Strip to save my family’s life. The cost of travel is $5,000 per adult and $2,500 per child, in addition to travel and accommodation expenses of $500 per month.
Together, we can support Heba and her family through this ordeal. Your donation, no matter how big, can make a difference in my family's life to get life and start a new life
If you are looking to support Heba and her family, please consider providing assistance directly or through relevant charitable organizations.

I need to run a survey really quick. This isn't serious, but I need people to cooperate and not cheat for the sake of it because it'll skew the results.
Imagine you wake up tomorrow and you realize you (and everyone else in the world) can turn into an animal (And back into a human) at will.
Please go to this link to see what animal it will be for you:
(this is random, and yes, you only get one, no redos)
With this in mind, please reply to the following questions as truthfully as possible based on your current situation. (Not an ideal fantasy one.)

5 VERIFIED PALESTINIAN FUNDRAISERS EXTREMELY LOW ON FUNDS (BELOW 5%)
I would like to bring attention to the fundraisers that are struggling to get any donations. These are all verified by el-shab-hussein and nabulsi and you can find all of them, and many others, in this list.

It’s almost July, and many of you will be tempted to call it wrath month. And you’re right, it is a month of wrath. but not for queer people
July is disability awareness month in the US. Queer people are very much in the public eye right now, with some places strengthening protections for us while others roll them back. It’s a scary time for us, and June is important for us to maintain our visibility and fight for our lives
But disabled people don’t have that. We’re forgotten by a world that is hostile to us. We have less rights than other people (limits on how much we can have in our bank accounts, losing our income if we get married, etc.) and even the few protections we have are routinely ignored. Businesses and government offices find every loophole they can to avoid accessibility requirements. We are treated as an inconvenience at best, and often subjected to policies driven by eugenics.
so yes, this is a month of wrath, but it is the wrath of the disabled.
