Is there database where you get your figure references from? Your poses are so dynamic and striking
Thank you sm! I used to get most of my ref off of pinterest but its mostly full of people posing for photographs which lack a lot of dynamism from life. Lately I've been trying to get my poses from videos and film instead. There are a few channels on youtube like Motionactorinc that create videos specifically for animators to use as reference and I just scrub through the video to find poses I like. I would also recommend pulling from tv shows and movies to get some more naturalistic poses. If you want some super dynamic action poses, I would pull from your favorite animated fight scenes or action moves from video games. (For the fight scenes, i would try and find the original animatic if you can)
