My name is Mahmoud, and today I am writing about my family

I’m husband and father of two children we evacuated at the beginning of the war. but my family is still suffering inside Gaza

My family was a beautiful, cheerful family that loved life and they love each other.

We have children are make fun and they the source of happiness for home

Until one day, the sounds of explosions overtook them. Days passed, and these days were very difficult for everyone in the family. Suddenly, my father fell ill, and it was determined that he was suffering with cancer, and needed surgery outside the Gaza Strip. But, because of the situation, he was unable to leave Gaza for treatment — eventually, due to lack of medical care and after suffering with his symptoms, he died. Five days after my father death, his children (my brothers- and sisters) were injured after their home was targeted. My brother suffered a double amputation of his feet and one hand, and his other siblings were injured as well, including a severe back injury.

My family suffers under these difficult situation and they have been displaced several times in more than one place.

The money raised will go towards evacuation fees for my family of 16 members : 8 adults and 8 children. I hope everyone will help my family, and help them receive the urgent medical care they need.

It’s actually disgusting me that people are choosing to forget about Palestine not even a full year into this ongoing genocide. Nothing is better. Nothing has slowed down. It’s just underreported. It’s just that western media outlets aren’t pretending to care. The iof is still targeting aid distribution centers, it’s still killing hundreds of Palestinians a day, it’s still preventing medical aid from entering North Gaza. So many diseases are robbing families of their loved ones. It is worse than it has ever been. Less people are talking about it now because they no longer want to be bothered to care

ibrahim ayyash is a displaced gazan who is working hard to serve his community as best as he can, despite his own suffering as a result of nearly his entire family being killed by the israeli occupation. he and his team have been running community kitchens, primarily in nuseirat camp (central gaza strip), as well as a whole host of initiatives e.g. baby formula, diapers, water projects for several months.

he has had to move donation platforms several times as a result of censoring and, a few days ago, instagram decided to remove both his main and backup instagram account, to which he posted constant proof of his and his team’s work for his thousands of followers to see. you can also see his efforts on the webpage linked above. he has since moved to @/ibrahimforgaza3 and has a telegram channel. he is supported by @/essssraaa, whose paypal and venmo are linked and through whom donations reach ibrahim on the ground, and is regularly spotlighted by @/palestinianvoicestoday.

currently, he has enough funds to continue work until september 22nd but the removal of his account has severely reduced his reach and caused a sharp fall in donations. please support him by sharing and donating if you can - these community kitchens are a lifeline for thousands of gazans.

There's a Palestinian Christian family being harassed by JNF and settlers to the point of these settlers bringing weapons and attacking them and their daughter Alice Kaissieh. The joke is this family went to israeli courts to prove their title to the land in 2023, defeated the settler families, but in classic settler-colonial occupation fashion Alice and her family have papers saying they own the land but are now living outside their home

The arrogance of fighting a family who can't defend themselves with any weapon much less a knife while you can use weapons like that. Disgusting

And remember settler violence is not confined to these smaller "land disputes" but all over palestine. Several families and entire communities have been forced to leave their homes because of israeli settler violence

After being displaced more than five times and living in a tent, you can imagine living all day in a three square meter space where you spend all your needs. The high temperature is as if you are living in an oven. Due to the intense heat and the spread of reptiles and insects, you do not know the taste of sleep or rest.

My children and I live in desperate conditions. We lost our passion for life after everything was destroyed, as well as our only source of income and the destruction of the house. My children have not been to school for a year and are receiving education in tents.
