This is an illustration I did for the August 2014 issue of Popular Science Magazine. The assignment was to show a scifi take on human aging in the future. I wanted to do something relatively positive, so I drew a lady whose life has been been prolonged through cybernetic enhancements and augmentation, so she gets to spend time with her great-great-great-great grandchildren.

This Months Writing

For months now you and Chibs had been constantly flirting with each other.

Everyone knew you were off limits, just like Chibs was.

You acted like a couple most of the time anyway.

But for some reason neither of you had the balls to confess the feelings that were obviously there.

Which meant you hadn’t kissed yet.

Every time you got close to kissing, something happened making the two of you pull away.

It was a friday night and everyone was drinking as normal.

You were sitting on Chibs’ knee, his thumb grazing over your thigh, making your stomach do somersaults.

“Why haven’t we kissed yet?” You hummed, resting your hand on his cheek.

“A think,” Chibs whispered, closing his eyes, “A think the problem is if I kiss ya, I don’t think I’d be able ta stop.”

“I don’t see that as a problem,” You whispered. “We already act like a couple, everyone sees us as off limits.”

“A just don’t wanna fuck up wha we have my love,” He admitted, “because wha we have is special.”

“Oh Chibsy,” You said, taking his hand, placing it over your heart “Nothing will ruin what we have okay, you have my heart, you always have and always will.”

So this is my first writing, it's short, written at 1:00am but why not. Please, feel free to make any comments so I can improve.

- "Wanna a fuck ?"

You spitted out your drink at the question dropped by Chibs who was seating next to you.

- "You okay, lass ?" Asked the scotsman, stroking your back to help you regain breath.

- "I'm sorry, could you repeat that ?" You said slowly, gulping

- "I was asking ya if ya wanted a smoke but giving that you can't even breath correctly by yourself the offer is out." He was now laughting at you.

You hit him on the shoulder before stealing a cigarette from the pack he had in his hand. Heading outside for some fresh air after almost dying you hoped nobody would see how red your face at gotten since you heard the question.

Since day one you had a crush on him. You met him when Tara forced you to come to one the club's party. For her, you riding a motorcycle and having tattoos meant that you would immediatly be friend with her boyfriend' friends....Well she was not entirely wrong. Everyone was welcoming and nice and even though Tig was really heavy on the dredge it went well. Your first interaction with Chibs was odd though. Between his thick scottish accent and your minnesota's accent the conversation was a lot of asking each other to repeat its sentence. But whatever you clicked and started seeing each other a lot at the club and outside the club.

Not lying he was absolutely your type. Yes, he was older not to your displeasure. Sweet, smart and funny, but also flirty and charming when he wanted. You had caught yourself having wet dreams about him on multiple nights after some of your encounters. Leaving you frustrated from the dreamt touches in the morning. Today was one of those days. When everytime he putted his hand on your arm or shoulder you couldn't stop your mind to imagine this strong big hand to go lower and lower to your pulsating core, just like in your dreams.

Since you were first introduced to the Sons a year ago you have had men in your bed. But everytime you closed your eyes, only his face would appear. Imaginating that it was his lips go from your neck to your breast, leaving a sweet but burning trail of kiss on your skin.

Starving for some physical contacts, you not so discretely tried to have contacts with him. Whether it was at the bar when grabbing a beer across from him, during a game of pool, on the couch. You were wondering how he did not already asked you not to be such in heat. Having other women in his bed and on his lap during parties surely help.

Until today.

Thoughts running wild, head between your hands you did not hear him coming and seating next to you.

- "Everything's okay, darling ?" his voice made startled you.

- "Yeah, yes absolutely, everything good." You tried to be convincing, facing him and smiling. "Everything is good for you too ?"

- "Well, to be honest, no. We are always honest we each other since the first day we met. So why do have a feeling you're hiding something from me ?"

Your silence said more then words you tried to get out.

Chibs grabbed your face forcing you to face him.

-"Come on, lass, tell your chibby what's in that beautiful mind" he had such a sweet and genuine smile on. You could not resist anymore.

Leaning forward you press your lips against his. Tasting the whiskey and cigarettes from earlier. When you tried to back away, his hand which was now on the back of your head blocked you and forced you to deepen the kiss.

You did not care at all if anyone could see you, if this kiss was nothing, you just savored the moment.

When both of you finally broke the kiss to breath, both you and him had a big goofy smile on your faces.

- "That's what's been on ya mind ? Damn princess, should have told me earlier ! I fantasized that kiss since my eyes landed on you."

- "Stop messing with me !" you were so relieved that you couldn't stop giggling and smiling. "Didn't you see all the signs I was throwing you ?"

- "No shit you throw me signs ? What about the ones I sent you?"

You both laughted at your own blindness.

- "You two are too fucking cheesy" Tig's voice behind you stopped your moment. "But...I'm happy for both of y'all, ya blind motherfuckers."

-"Thanks, Tiggy" you said "Can you go away now I kinda want an alone time with Chibs." You threw him a big wink absolutely not discreet but you didn't care.

- "Shit, if I knew you were like that I would have tried to get you myself." He laughted and left closing the door behind him.

Chibs was looking at you with an arched brow and a smirk plastered on his face.

- "What do you mean when you say alone time ?" he asked

- "Well, sex baby, I have waited enough. We take your bike and go to my place." You lifted yourself up and started walking towards his Harley motioning him to follow.

You didn't even had time to reach his bike, that he was already on it, motor roaring.

It was going to be a good evening and night and maybe next morning too who knows ? What was sure, you were definitively getting a fuck.

I’m so tired of every show that takes place in the past (wild west, medieval, pirates etc) ALWAYS having so much sexual violence towards women like writers can cry “oh it’s realism” all you want but it’s very transparent how realism only applies when you want to hurt women on screen. If we’re talking staying realistic, why doesn’t everyone have brown teeth? Or bad skin? Or dying of dysentery? Just admit y'all want an excuse to brutalize women on screen lol

Not Such A Secret Now

Requested by @purpleobjectcollector // Could I ask for prompt number 13 with Chibs Telford. Where the reader and Chibs meet in Ireland (reader is Irish). She works for Sambel as a barman to pay for her nurse studies. When she finally gets her diploma, she moves to Charming to work at St Thomas. She sees the sons quite a few times in the hospital, and because they remember her they invite her to some parties. She becomes friends with Lyla so she is around the Sons a lot and a relationship starts to build with Chibs, they decide to hide it. Which can be sometimes hard due to the obvious tension between the two and Tig (who figured it out) who teases him by hitting on the reader on purpose. Finally, one day, Chibs has enough and kiss/tell the reader I loves her/or other thing in front of all the guys. And when one the boys ask what's happening then prompt 13. Prompt: “It was supposed to be a secret!”

A/N okay so I know this is short compared to the request but I went with the actual reveal of the relationship rather than the backstory

Never in a million years did you think you would move from Ireland but here you were in the middle of Charming, falling fast and hard for the Scot. You had been dating for about six months now but no one knew. All you wanted to do was scream it from the rooftop but Chibs wanted to keep it on the down low for your protection.

“What’s up pretty lady?” Tig smirked as he draped his arm across your shoulder kissing your cheek.

Tig knew what the deal was, well he thought he knew. The tension between you and Chibs was so thick it was obvious. So he decided to have a little bit of fun to push his brother to grow some balls.

“Trager” you laughed “what do you want?”

“Well you see a pretty doll like yourself shouldn’t be alone” he grinned knowing Chibs was within earshot. “Someone of your caliber I am really surprised that you have been claimed yet”

“Thanks for making me sound like an object” you laughed.

“Oh you are more than an object” he nodded “you see if you were mine, I would scream it from the rooftop, everyone would know. I would shower you with gift every chance I got. I definitely wouldn’t keep the world from knowing”

“Wait you know?” You asked quietly.

The tension that was in the room could be cut with a knife, everyone could feel it apart from the idiot that was trying to flirt with you in front of Happy.

He must have had a death wish.

Rolling your eyes as your wiped the bar down pretending to be listening to what the idiot of rambling about, when in reality you were trying to figure out how to keep your boyfriend from killing.

Without any warning, Happy was on his feet, knife in his hand as he made his way over to the idiot that was flirting with his girl. You could have warned the dude but you wanted a bit of fun.

One look in your boyfriends eyes told you he was out for blood, you couldn’t help but laugh as the guy that had been trying to flirt with you literally squealed as Happy’s fist connected with his jaw. Before he could cause too much damage some of the other Sons had dragged the guy outside away from Happy before poor Chucky had to clean his blood from the floor.

“Feel better baby” you giggled resting your hand on Happy’s arms.

“No one flirts with my Babygirl” he growled before leaning over the bar, kissing you softly before grabbing a beer from the counter.
