oh!

so I felt like he played Bob less overtly cruel than KWP usually does-Bart's Bob feels like a true, cocky, high school jock (we all knew the type LOL) who has never really been told "no" before. In the break up scene, it was more like he genuinely couldn't believe Cherry would break up with him because the concept just never crossed his mind.

He felt young, self-sure, and born from privilege, which directly impacts the choices Bob makes throughout the story and kinda brought a different vibe to the role than I'm used to!

His voice is also so great- I really liked that we got a chance to hear him shine in more than just the ensemble!

The only funny mishap I remember at the moment is the grease tin went rolling upstage in GGAH and Brody fully slid on the gravel upstage to retrieve it, then tried to toss it and missed again so it just rolled towards the car and I lol’ed

I really do love that show, man. I was lucky enough to see the full OBC twice and now the replacement cast and they're all stellar.

anyway can i yap about the Suffs closing for a minute?

I have only experienced a few theatrical moments like that in my time, and I am so, so glad I was there.

When Hannah's voice broke in "The March" I started crying and really didn't stop crying until I got home lol. They were all laying it all on that stage and it was incredible. The standing ovation during Lucy's song was such a special moment and honestly-hearing Finish the Fight/Keep Marching that night was both heart breaking but also incredibly cathartic. Two lines in particular-obviously, "You won't live to see the future that you fight for" but also "we did not end injustice and neither will you" really really hit hard.

I am the first to admit the first time I saw Suffs it did not really resonate with me, but I'm incredibly glad I went back and gave it another chance and that I got to be there Sunday.

(If anyone has video/audio of The March.....I'm not saying I want it BUT lol)

i’m actually going to Suffs closing today so something new and different for me!

This is actually my third time seeing Suffs but I’m quite sure it’s going to be the most emotional time
