It seems Sparkleberry Swirl doesn’t have any official 2D art— none that I could find, anyway. She was my first baby pony, and she deserves official art!

Come to think of it, there’s not much official art of the baby G3 ponies, period. The only thing I could find for reference was Rose Blossom’s First Christmas.

genuinely nothing makes me more emotional than seeing the creativity in My Little Pony toys die.

g1 was honestly incredible, there was so much love and so much creativity put into those toys. there wasn't just the standard unicorn, pegasus and earth pony no- there were princesses, various types of baby ponies, flutter ponies, sea ponies. and that's just the types of ponies there were SO many gimmicks, talking ponies, ponies with secret compartments, ponies with lipstick, ponies that tails moved (seriously that is so fucking cute) there was so much variety and CLEARLY they were made to last because they're still standing 40 years later.

sure hasbro kept up the gimmicks with other generations and even kept varieties of ponies for example the breezies in G3 but god. G5. the toys make me so sad man. i see them every time I go to the supermarket and they're so cheaply made, they all have the same face and there's no personality at all.

my little pony really lost the magic and it's devasting.

anyways I love her very much!!!! she used to be an alicorn princess and the daughter of fluttershy, i got rid of the alicorn princess bit but i think im gonna keep her being fluttershys kid. i think its fun and i need to let loose and be a little cringe sometimes
