i think part of why I sometimes bristle at being called cute is bc the only physical compliment I got for years was cute. I only started being seen as hot or sexy or pretty or whatever in the past year or two, and even now it's mostly cishet men who call me hot instead of cute and I don't want their attention. I know I'm hot, I feel hot, but I wanna be lusted after by other trans/gnc ppl.
