Hi! I'm an unemployed trans woman living in Alabama. I'm 20 years old and I graduated May 2023

I live in a very rural area and I don't have a car (nor license), so I'm physically unable to get (and maintain) a job due to how far away I live from even the closest places of employment. I live with my grandparents, and they aren't very supportive of me being queer - but they're not homophobic, so I'm not in danger of being kicked to the curb or anything.

If you'd like to donate to my Cashapp ($simpleerat29) or PayPal (@SimpleeSam29) - I **GREATLY** appreciate it! Even small donations of $1-2 go a LONG way to getting me on my feet. I'd prefer Cashapp donations though, just so I can keep things in one place and also bcoz I don't have a bank account or any debit or credit cards so I can't really use PayPal except to pay other people to buy things for me...

I don't really have any goals for donations currently. I'd say I'm trying to save up to maybe buy a cheap car off of FB marketplace or something, but that's a long-shot and I probably shouldn't be driving anyways (I've failed like 4-5 driving tests so far 💀).

Currently I'm waiting for my Cashapp card to come in. I need to buy more drawing needles for my estrogen injections, as after my next injection (next Thursday) I'm going to be completely out of drawing needles.

If you'd like to buy those needles for me, I'll link my Amazon wishlist below. They're only like $10 and a single box will last me over a year! (I do injections every 7 days, so a box of 100pcs theoretically should last a few weeks under 2 years).

If you're lamenting the fact that you used to be able to shoot through a 500-page novel in like a day when you were in middle school and now you can't, it's worth bearing in mind that a big part of that is because when you were in middle school, your reading comprehension sucked. Yes, mental health and the stresses of adult life can definitely be factors, but it's also the case that reading is typically more effortful as an adult because you've learned to Ponder The Implications. The material isn't just skimming over the surface of your brain anymore, and some of the spoons you used to spend on maximising your daily page count are now spent on actually thinking about what you're reading!

As an artist with music on spotify – I HATE Spotify. It is genuinely one of the most evil music platforms. If you posted your spotify "wrapped" this year and especially if you pay for spotify premium you should consider directly supporting your favorite small artists by buying from their bandcamp if they have one or buying their merch.

Tomorrow is Bandcamp Friday! This means that all artists receive 100% profits from sales without bandcamp taking their usual cut. That makes it an ideal day to support artists through bandcamp.
