Fugio
Beginning May 2023 for Sou's birthday, Ishida started posting backstories for the Jack Jeanne winter play roles on character birthdays. The stories include a drawing and a music link to read along with (original post). I'm just beginning as an amateur, but I did my best to translate Fugio's story into English. There will be character spoilers but no plot spoilers. Also since this was originally written for Twitter in a poetic sort of structure, I've tried to keep the format as much as possible.
In the back alley of a Havenna mugwort den, Fugio was born. His mother, a mugwort seller, not once held her own child. Then, before he was old enough to understand, she disappeared.
2. The mugwort sellers of the den found time and took turns trying to look after of him. While volatile feelings were uttered at times, Fugio, trying his best to not upset the women, always wore a smile.
3. Upon turning eleven, the trouble-causing Fugio was forced to leave by the den owner. Ever since Fugio was born, the den owner, rumoured to be the father, thought of him with disdain perhaps.
A pitying priest took the boy as a ward, but the scriptures never filled his heart, Bringing forth a shapeless bitterness
4. He received an invitation from an unsavoury man and left the church to begin working at Agua Club. With his smile unchanged from boyhood, he took captive the hearts of women. He thought the role suited him. In the Havenna night, there was nothing he did not know about. However, no matter how much wealth and recognition he gained, Fugio felt empty.
5. After obtaining all these things, he began using the money he earned to visit the mugwort dens. Perhaps, somewhere, he was seeking warmth from the traces of his mother. The smell of mugwort was nostalgic as always. However, those things not provided to him in infancy were never fulfilled in any way.
6. Fugio particularly liked to adorn his chest with a poisonous flower. The fatality-inducing flower often grew in the alleys of the mugwort den where he was born.
7. "It would have been better to allow myself to believe in convenient things. There's no damn way I will ever understand anything after all"
(Extract "Fugio" from the works of Kokuto Neji)
[Note: Ishida says that these are his personal ideas so they aren't considered proper canon without Towada as they both created the game closely together. Towada retweeted the thread.]

Seriously though like, I missed the boat on this whole radical honesty thing. I guess everyone wants to be true to themselves now? That’s…great…but like you’re really only ever going to meet a select few people you can be totally honest with about everything. Lie to strangers! Lie to authorities! Like damn didn’t you have parents that told you never to tell people on the phone that you were home alone? When the interviewer asks if you ever experimented with drugs, you say no! This is not a therapy session! He’s got no business asking you that anyway! Lots and lots of people are not entitled to your vulnerability. Damn.
