i am so grateful to travel out of the country and meet relatives i hadnt seen in person but i cannot stand being around my family anymore. i need to like curl up in a ball with my friends around me talking but not really interacting with me so i can decompress and relax for the first time in 2 1/2 weeks but also i need to be touched in some way like head pats or just like a hand on my side while im in a ball bc i am so incredibly touch starved rn but also i understand that most of my friends are not big touch people so its okay but also im about to cry so if one of the touch people could please just keep a hand on me at all times for the next 7-10 business days except when i decide its too much and then do it again in like 20 min when i decide i need affection again thatd be wonderful please

two coworkers in the past two day have pointed out my speech impediment!

the first one went “yeah i cant understand you sometimes. you just struggle with r’s” and the second MOCKED it then when i said “yeah i have a speech impediment…” he said “yeah it just comes out when youre over the speakers” THANK YOU FOR THAT! I THINK ABOUT THAT EVERY TIME I HAVE TO PAGE SOMEONE AND I HAVE SO MUCH ANXIETY OVER PEOPLE NOT UNDERSTANDING ME THAT I HAVE TO REPEAT MYSELF OVER AND OVER BEFORE SPEAKING TO SOMEONE OR GOING OVER THE SPEAKER

LETS MAYBE NOT POINT OUT OR MAKE FUN OF PEOPLE’S SPEECH IMPEDIMENTS! AND MAYBE ISE CONTEXT CLUES THAT HUH BUG SAID SOMETHING THAT SOUNDED LIKE HAIR WHILE GESTURING TO THEIR HAIR AND TALKING ABOUT DYE AND THEIR HAIR IS A NEW COLOR! LETS MAYBE NOT ASK THEM WHAT THEY SAID FIVE TIMES BEFORE POINTING OUT THAT THEY CANT SPEAK CORRECTLY! IS THAT REALLY THAT HARD???????

hi!! i have a question for the muslim people of tumblr! my friend converted to the muslim faith about a year ago and i havent seen him much since he goes to school so far away. i think i will be able to see him more this summer and i love to bake for my friends.

my question is how do i make sure that what i’m baking is halal? i’ve tried to research some but i’m not sure how exactly i can make sure that i wont accidentally feed him anything that doesnt follow halal guidelines (i know theres a word but i cant think of it i’m very sorry)

i typically bake cookies, cake and brownies if that helps?? idk i’m just nervous that i might do something wrong and hurt him unintentionally :(((
