I got a little carried away on the translator notes for this chapter so thank you in advance for letting me be indulgent, lol. I think probably the mark of a good translator is not needing translator notes but I also know that a lot of readers of Saezuru are interested in the Japanese language, too, so I thought including some context around the idioms etc would be nice.

For the record, I have bought all the volumes of Saezuru that I could find in my country, and I've ordered the last two on Amazon through a relative who lives near Japan who will bring me the package in December, for reasons of location I've problems but I always try to support the author by buying the original material, and I'm infinitely grateful to the fans who publish the scans in the fandom for those of us who have problems receiving the material in time to enjoy this masterpiece

A few errant thoughts on this chapter:

We finally know the damn lady's name!

Kamiya is very rude (lol)

Nanahara and Yashiro's dynamic is adorable and I love them

Inami definitely views Doumeki as some kind of kindred spirit and it's gross

FYI, I added a few speech bubble tails etc for clarification on who is speaking

On a serious note:

By providing these scans so quickly my intention is to promote discussion and keep English reading fans up to date on the story. Please, please, PLEASE purchase the work when you're able to do so.

Also, and I know this is a futile ask, but please DO NOT upload these images to an aggregate site that profits off of the scans (from incessant ads or otherwise). I intend these for personal fan use and not for profit in any way. That was a big part of the reason I chose to upload ch 53 one image at a time originally - to hopefully discourage folks from downloading and sharing on aggregate sites.

In the future, if it seems like this is becoming a problem I will choose to ask for proof of purchase of the chapter before giving access to a scanlation.

Let's see if this will cause any more account issues - if my account suddenly disappears you can guess why (lol)
