Late last night/early this morning. Farmer Charlie met Isaiah for the first time and and @codypuffer and @marycatherine.puffer14 came from from being stationed overseas for the last three years. This is the pigs getting settled in for the night. These guys have been given 15 gallons of hot water today. Given that it is extremely cold here we have a responsibility to make sure they stay warm. The first and second walls are up and I have cut the top and bottom plates for most of the remaining walls. We are using reclaimed barn wood from the barn that used to be on the farm. The nice thing is it saves a ton money in the cost of the farm store. Here is the new 10 acre addition to the farm. So stoked to be expanding. Also thankful for the tremendous support from the local communities. This 10 acres will be 5 acres of sweetcorn, 2 acres of pumpkins, 1 acre of gourds, 1 acre of Indian corn and Indian popcorn, and 1 acre of watermelons, cantaloupe and honeydew.
