Wtf even are hormones??? Why am I experiencing pain and blood yet feel so much more like doing things, I just sat down and wrote an email, researched the fact that artichokes are related to thistles, started thinking about doing my Queen's Guide award and found a new favourite song, life feels so good and full of possibilities! Yet I also want to curl up in a ball and eat chocolate biscuits. And my last 2 cycles were 37 and 13 days long? Like pick a side? Is this normal? I'll probably take a minute to worry about it then not be bothered to do anything lol

Today I had someone ask me to get tested for autism because of the frog that lives in my frog purse, I only took him out to meet the origami frog I was folding, anyway thanks Elliott for your concern but I think that's pretty normal lol

Musical thoughts of the week:
Feel like some charming Scottish twee pop? I've been loving Camera Obscura's latest album and will give extended reviews on request!
Fave track: Baby Huey: Hard Times
I just found out Magdalena Bay are in a relationship?? That's so fucking cute?? I love it so much when I find out about band romances! Giving me the wish to write band romance au fics but I haven't written a thing for years so idk if you wanna read that
Fave track: That's My Floor
My neighbours maybe do not like vocaloid or Perfume as much as I do but I think I'm about to go through another childish phase and use them to wake me up every morning...
Fave track: Perfume by Perfume, Music Like Magic by OSTER Project
City Girl released a new proper song!! It's adorable and I'm still forever grateful for all their lo-fi that I have downloaded for studying.
Fave track: Daydreaming
No pressure for anyone to listen just enjoying putting my thoughts out there! Feeling a bit fatigued by other social media so this was refreshing! Love you all and have a great week!

"homesickness should resolve in 6-8 weeks" yeah right it's my 2nd year and I'm still waking up lonely and missing the bedroom I haven't had since 2015, is it creepy to watch the windows of the block opposite and imagine the people there choosing their little outfits and eating their little breakfasts?

I highly recommend clubbing with earplugs, I was out for over 2 hours and my ears don't ring one bit! I was nowhere near as overwhelmed as usual! Also when a guy tried to ask me something I was just like "I can't hear you I have earplugs" and ran away teehee
#I was peer pressured into going out but it was ok#that's me done for the week#what even is freshers

Day 4- Hamburg!
Yesterday was a travel day and our train got delayed so I didn't end up posting, but I finished up Amsterdam with some window shopping and a visit to the Mouse Mansion, which is a shop full of mouse-sized miniatures, very cute! Today I visited the Planten und Blomen park, explored some historic streets and St Michael's church, and headed to Hamburg's warehouse district. There, I visited a spice museum and headed to the viewing platform of the Elbphilharmonie building, lovely views over the harbour and super exciting as I had to learn facts about it for my exams last year! I finished the day back in the park, watching a musical fountain light show, completely free and very lovely!
#there was a thunderstorm as well#and we got very soaked#but it was ok#i crocheted a lot on the train#holiday

Day 3- Amsterdam!! I am loving all the bikes and chilled out atmosphere, this evening I went for a walk in Vondelpark which is full of people just chilling, it's lovely! Today I went to the Stedelijk to enjoy some modern art and the Van Gogh museum! I got no good photos again so, like, trust me when I say the Stedelijk had excellent curation and the Van Gogh was absolutely mobbed with people snapping pictures on phones. Also my breakfast! It was very yummy!!

Day 2- Amsterdam! Super busy museum day, the Rijksmuseum is huge! Highlights were Rembrandt, weird medieval babies and Van Gogh, the café food was great too but I ate it too fast to snap! In the afternoon we walked across town to Micropia, Europe's only microbe museum. I got to view live tiny critters on microscopes, collect microbe stamps and learn all about how they make our world work. I bought a tardigrade keychain in the gift shop! Last full day tomorrow, I'm hoping for modern art, stroopwafels and maybe some shopping. Loving the city, I don't want to leave already!

The thing about summer jobs is they make you appreciate your termtime life, I love not being covered in gravy and never needing to sanitise a high chair. Anyway only reason I haven't quit is I want to buy more sewing supplies and fairy kei outfits
