We've had to have this discussion a lot lately, so.

Gentle reminder, you cannot transition to become intersex. You can transition to have ambiguous genitals, but you cannot transition to intersex because intersex is a lot more than physical anatomy, and is not synonymous with ambiguous genitals.

You are not transitioning to intersex, you are transitioning to a stereotype of intersex. Please say what you actually mean instead of saying intersex. I know there are other words that have been coined lately as well to describe this experience that doesn't step on intersex people (I'm not well-educated on them so I cannot link them to you, but I have heard of them).

Just. Please. Listen to intersex people. Do not use intersex language to describe your identity if you are not intersex. Don't say you're transitioning to become intersex, you are not.

Thanks for all you do to destigmatize psychosis! I realized a while ago that I’ve been experiencing symptoms of it and reading your experiences and talking about it has made it less scary to me and helped me put my own experiences into words and understand my own brain a little better.
