Summary:

“She’s dead, Peter. It’s been 8 years since she died. And... it’s 2026 now.

The shock of Nebula’s revelation hit Peter like a tidal wave, overwhelming his senses and sending his mind into a chaotic spin. The room seemed to tilt around him, the sterile white walls and the concerned faces of his friends blurring into an indistinct mess. Nebula’s words crashed into him with a deafening finality, and Peter’s grasp on reality began to fray.

In his mind, it was still 2017, and Gamora was very much alive. The dissonance between his memories and the present was unbearable, and the ground beneath him felt like it was shifting, threatening to collapse entirely. He struggled to make sense of the situation, his thoughts racing and colliding in a storm of disbelief and dread.

“Stop it,” Peter’s voice came out as a strained whisper, a desperate plea to dispel the crushing reality he could not accept. His heart pounded furiously in his chest, and his eyes searched Nebula’s face for some sign that this was all a cruel joke or a misunderstanding.

So I’m at a library in a town I don’t live in to spend time with my nieces and I go to the bathroom and see this sign.

They turned their old card catalog into free supplies people can discretely take on their own.

This is the coolest thing ever, a great way to help people without making them ask, and an amazing reuse of a card catalog. I’m seriously about to cry I love it so much.

He turned back to his arm, his wand raised as he carried on with the rune he was tattooing in place. For a moment she didn’t reply, but he waited. He had time.
