good god. i cant believe a math shitpost i made when i was like 16 is haunting me in 2025. sometimes i wake up having nightmares about being attacked on instagram by people who failed high school algebra telling me i distributed wrong. its insane. i think if i could go back i could at least tell my past self to not alphabetically reorder the variables it was just a stylistic choice but i got so much hate for it lol

ok ive been returning to listen to kanzaki iori after like 5 years and HELLO this man just reinvented yorushika with clumsy man?? like this is just straight up a yorushika song??? not even just having exactly the same instrumental and lyrical vibe but the mv is so unbelievably yorushikacore. if you showed me this song with suis vocals id be like i dont remember this banger being on the tracklist of that's why i gave up on music. actually insane

happy pride!! i'm excited to finally share the banner and mascot i was commissioned to design for this year's puzzler pride all the way back in october! it's a set of very cool (mostly logic) pride-themed puzzles written entirely by queer authors. please go check it out!!

the mascot's name is darryl scroggins and entirely designed in LaTeX (TikZ)! if people are interested in reading about how i draw stuff in TikZ let me know and i'll write something up.

tonights food escapade: attempting to taste this red wine i bought for cooking

step 1: i dont drink so i forget wines use these cork things and require a corkscrew to open step 2: realise i have a cork. in the wine bottle. and a screw in my toolbox

(not pictured: the horizontal bar on the back of a kitchen chair i had to rest the pliers on to leverage the cork out, it took me like 10 minutes to find a surface at the height i needed lol)

actually first i did try an allen wrench because i was thinking like, hook-like object (idk how i thought this would work given the structural integrity of cork), which is how i fucked up the cork

step 3: taste the wine

step 4: it tastes bitter as fuck so i added coffee creamer and now its pretty good, 8/10

if i wasnt already on some french hitlist i probably am now

well i was searching for something in my undergrad files, and found this hypotenuse x circumference ship art my friend requested once during quizbowl practice (i know that is A Sentence, now we don't have time to unpack all of that) that took around 15 min, given pi day was yesterday i thought it'd be thematic to share!
