Season 14, episode 1: #13, David
I completely forgot about David. Anyways, I am not a huge fan of this look. I don’t think that the different patterns mix together well. It also looks pretty easy to make. Overall, I’m pretty disappointed that he didn’t do something more memorable for his first impression.

Season 14, episode 1: #14, Blake
This dress is all about the print. I do not like this print, so obviously I don’t like the dress. I think the colors don’t go together well (especially the yellow lining) and the the back of the dress looks odd. The reason that this dress is at #14 is because it still looks like a dress. I can’t really say that about the bottom 2.

Season 14, episode 1: #15, Duncan
I know that many Project Runway fans think that Duncan did not deserve to be eliminated, but I actually agreed with the judges choice this episode. The way that this was draped does the model’s body no good. She looks shapeless. I kind of like the color, but hate the fabric. (Can you tell that I’m not a fan of silky fabrics? haha.) Though I dislike Hanmiao’s look more, I understand why Duncan was eliminated. This was not fashion-forward or different enough to warrant him staying.

Season 14, episode 1: #16, Hanmiao
I understand why Hanmiao was not eliminated. This look wasn’t “safe”. However, I think it looks horrible. She chose the wrong fabric for this boxy dress. Had it have been a less shiny, more structured fabric, it could have worked. This also happens to be one of my least favourite colors.

Welcome!
I’ve seen quite a few blogs on Tumblr that rank other reality tv shows, but as far as Project Runway goes, there aren’t many blogs about it on here. I thought it would be fun to rank the designs/designers!
For example, I would be starting with season 14, and I would rank the designs of every episode, from every designer. I am going to try to do this until season 1.
(Small disclaimer: I understand that fashion is subjective. I garment that I love could be a garment that you hate, and vise versa.)
