That was not obvious. That was not an "of course" thing, the blog very clearly said for systems with headmates in those types of relationships not to interact. The blog did not say "don't request things relating to" it said "DNI if" and that was literally the question we asked. Why can't you just avoid requesting /those topics/, how are you going to run a safe for problematic individuals and say that people with certain experiences can't interact. All that HAD to be said was. "They can, just don't send in those types of requests"

There is a very, very big difference between "don't request x content" and "do not like my posts, followy blog, or send in requests if someone in your system does x" - the first is a boundary, the second is just exclusionary. And don't suddenly act like you don't know what DNI means

We asked a question. A genuine question that we wanted to know the answer to. There is no reason to act like asking a question is the same thing as forcing pedophilia down your throat.

But also something I shouldn't have to talk about.

This post is about @problematicfactive | I won't respond to anything, feel free to block me if you really want to just run away from this but you did it to yourselves after how you acted. Both sides could've done something different but you really should have just blocked them and moved on.

So a little bit ago my friend had a blog for problematic headmates, wanting to help them and all that good stuff!

But then one little weasel came by and decided it was oh-so very smart of them to ask why they wouldn't do things for incestuous relationships or adult x minor relationships

Interesting question but sure, man, Curiosity and all that fun shit. But it's someone's boundaries and it's really no rocket science to scroll and move on or even block if it's that big of a deal for you.

I won't do those either, does this warrant doing all this extra shit you didn't need to ever do? I don't really think so.

Problematic headmates should never be pushed away from topics, nor their progress in possible recovery or their own personal journeys when it comes to the struggle of being something or someone problematic

And I truly never give a shit about who is in anyone's system. Be Hitler, be Dahmer, be Trump for all I give a fuck - it doesn't matter at the end of the day because systems will be systems and those are your headmates to care about - not me.

I would know, I have those types of headmates. I still have headmates who refuse to recover but we still do what we can. Headmates who daydream about incest with a previous abuser - headmates who want to prey upon other headmates for being younger. I've been a victim to my own headmates before whether it be them having gotten me into pedophilic relationships or other similar things.

These things are real and do happen - but that doesn't mean every system blog should have to be comfortable about it. Individualism exists, I fear. And this includes different levels of comfortability about certain topics.

They are actually extremely accepting, seeing as how they handle me and my system and our genuine problematic aspects. So get a grip or something - there's a bajillion blogs out there.

If you wanna complain about it so bad maybe just make your own blog like that and do what the hell you want with it forever

Reminder that telling a headmate to change an aspect of their identity or self to be "less problematic" is dehumanising as fuck. You can't go around doing that shit. It's entirely a you issue if you can't handle a headmate having an identity, they're not responsible for your issues or required to morph themselves into something you can swallow. Fictives, factives, people with number names, nonhumans who are "scary", headmates who are queer while the body isn't, headmates who are queer in a different way to the body, disabled headmates, etc.

You can't tell a singlet to change their entire name because you think it's problematic. You can't tell a singlet to hide their gender or sexuality because it "doesn't match" their body. You can't tell a singlet to change or hide their entire damn identity because you don't like it. You can't tell a singlet to stop having days where they experience disordered symptoms.

If the headmate in question is acting respectful, treat them with some god damn respect. It doesn't MATTER if they "match" the body. They're just as much of a person as any singlet is. You cannot convert someone into being something they're not.

Best way to fix the factives tag being flooded is to make factive content and have a firm stance against irrelevant crosstagging. Speak up for yourself and others will start to do the same.
