Get ready it's about to get stat heavy
let's reset this blog since I've been absent to long avoiding my weight issues like most obese people, I've been weighed today properly and would like to go through some stats for people and show you where I think as a fat person we tend to trip up so lets look at two sets of data from my previous weigh in on the 17/01/2024 to today
So although the image might not be perfectly clear you can see my total body weight in January was 207.4kg
This consisted of:
107.2 kg of body fat
100.2 kg of fat free mass
The other important stats are:
58.3 kg of muscle mass
74.1 kg of total body water
Now when getting weighed today and seeing my total weight the initial reaction for myself and I'm sure many people who see weight gain would be shock, but let's have a look and go through it.
So viewing this you'll see straight away we have weight gain of 6.1kg (13 poundsish) in 4 months. Seeing this flat stat alone is something I think a lot of obese people struggle with as it doesn't tell the whole story and looks very negative, however if we look at our breakdowns again we will see:
108.2 kg of body fat
105.1 kg of fat free mass
We also have:
61kg muscle mass
77.9kg of total body water
Looking at the stats and the image we can see although there is an upsetting weight gain when we look closer there is actually only a fat gain of 1 kg (2 pounds) Although we wish to avoid this 2 pounds of fat over 4 months is not something I'm legitimately upset about. However we have muscle increase of 1.7 kg (just under 4 pounds) which also accounts for some of the water gain which is a wopping 3.8kg (over 8 pound) increase in weight.
The water weight is a concern and mainly it could be attributed to creatine use. For that reason during these next 6 weeks I won't be using creatine to see if that reduces the water I'm holding onto.
Im also going to attach a selfie so we can start having some real accountability.
Im going to post again in 6 weeks which will be the 14/06/2024 with another of these weight updates.
I may post sooner if I feel there's something weight related I want to talk about but until then if you are obese or just want to be less fat, healthier whichever. Keep going it's not easy it's not quick but it's the right thing to be doing and my fat ass will support you until we both have thick muscled glutes
Good luck lads!

Day 23 fat man absentee
I've not made a post since the 11th which was technically day 8 of my daily posts and there are many factors for why including injury and work and uni stress but the honest truth is I was finding it hard to stick to the diet and persevere. A current injury from swimming for the first time for months last week paired with an already poor attitude to eating on track has made me avoid the scales but after just stepping on to make this post I was pleased to see I was at 208.4 down from the 211.1 of day 8 by 2.7kg.
I'm going to make an emergency doctors appointment for my injury as its starting to effect me being able to walk and move, and less movement means less weightloss (atleast for me) I'm also holding myself to getting properly accurately weighed this Friday so I can post it here and have something to set goals from.
if you're just starting a journey into being healthier or trying to get more discipline and willpower, don't give up, have a few days of not being fully strict if you need to but remind yourself about those long term goals and how happy you'd be to reach a goal you set for yourself through sheer determination and will power
Even if you don't believe in yourself, there's a fat man on tumblr who does.

day 8 less on my plate
weighed in at 211.1 this morning, I knew I'd weigh more after some unhealthy munching yesterday so it isn't a shock, tomorrow I need to go visit some nature places for a uni project so that should entail plenty of walking and then if it's possible I'll either play in goal if we get enough players for football or I'll do some badminton or swimming. Some form of cardio will be had.
Today's a rest day but tonight when I go to watch some football we have the temptations of friends and takeaways so it will be a good test of my willpower as I refuse food and just sit with a drink
See you tomorrow !

Day 7 fat man heaven
a rainy Sunday thats full of rest today the scales showed 210.1 this morning which is a decent drop since day 1's 212.9 a loss of 2.8 without much effort which is 6 pound in 7 days
Today is relaxed and unhealthy with a takeaway celebrating mothers day at my nans and chocolate and fizzy drinks also adding to the mix, yes the scales tomorrow won't be showing a loss but I have the week to make the difference up.
Due to starting a new job yesterday I didn't write a blog post and also didn't get the chance to book an inbody so I will set the gym weigh day to Friday the 15th and hopefully that will give me a good chance to see how this new routine affects weight loss
Cant wait to make it to Fridays weigh day, I'll also include a photo of me in my fat glory on the day too!
See you tomorrow

Day 5, good day
scales showed 211 after a tacticall morning visit to the toilet, I've decided on having Monday to Friday be just near my BMR (basal metabolic rate) so that on a Saturday and Sunday I can be a little less controlled and possibly Indulge in meals or takeaways with family.
However I've just been offered a part time job at an arcade so that will help give me structure on weekends and keep me on my feet to burn more of those (NEAT) calories.
Im going to play some badminton tonight at a nice leisurely pace and then tomorrow If I'm up early enough I may get a swim session in before work
All in all some nice slow progress this week before we get into a better rhythm

Day 4 exercise more
So last night I didn't go to badminton and I ate over the calories I should have and still weigh in 211.4 so tiny decrease from yesterday without any real effort.
That's nice to see but it also shows I could be upping the calories on a weekday and doing more walking, exercise and activity and still losing weight.
Ironically it's food for thought. Tomorrow is gym and badminton late night and since I missed yesterday's badminton I really have to go to this one. I havent been in the gym to book an inbody weight check so when I'm in there tomorrow I'll book it for Monday meaning it will be a week since the blog started and we will have a more accurate weight to go off, I'll post all the stats the Inbody gives. Honest and open.
See you tomorrow

Wednesday fat warrior
day 3 of blogging/journaling this fat mess and its looking good after football and an actual hefty amount of calories last night the scales are showing 211.6 which is just over 2kg less than yesterday, I know body water can fluctuate up tp 3kg but its nice to see less weight on the scale when it wasn't expected.
Im going out for coffee today so that will help curb the appetite until this afternoon when I'll be carbing it up again before some manly badminton.
See you tomorrow

Day 2 Football and fat
scales say 213.5 today which is a little disheartening, but I did share a takeaway last night after not eating through the day
Today has been busy but I'm about to load up on some carbs before some football tonight, it's the first time playing in about 3 months so easing into it with the hope of not doing myself any damage.
See you tomorrow

First Time Poster long time fat
This image above is the heaviest I've ever weighed, it happened during lockdown and was in general just an awful time and experience.
With a lot of work I got to this point in 2022 however with out motivation due to different things happening in life I weighed in today on my home scales at 212.9. These scales are 0.8 inaccurate so hopefully on Friday when I do my first gym weigh in this weight is less and I can also compare it with my home scales to see how inaccurate they are going forward.
This is the lightest weight I've ever recorded myself at and I'm hoping through this blog I can encourage myself daily to get back to it.
Heres hoping
See you tomorrow
