There’s something really romantic about killing the living version of yourself and running off to live her life in her hometown, hiding the android aspects of your own body, and falling in love with the most normal, boring man ever, who is actually the 23rd copy of that normal, boring man, who took over the normal, boring life the man led. Just two people who aren’t really people, living the most personal life together, and taking each others last names because they aren’t the original, they belong to each other.

That interlude song about a musical that is a part of the Hatchetverse but has nothing to do with what's happening at that point in the show. (Workin' Boys, Santa Clause is Goin' to Highschool, The Barbeque Monologues)

The single dad who thinks he knows what’s best for his kid but is pretty misguided (Bill + Alice Woodward, Tom + Tim Houston, Solomon + Steph Lauter)

The song where everyone in town goes insane (La Dee Dah Dah Day, Feast or Famine, Hatchet Town)

Jeff Blim's commentary on something probably (America's Great Again, Made in America, Just For Once)

And now to interrupt out segment - DAN AND DONNA WITH THE HATCHETFIELD ACTION NEWS

That one CREEPY AF song that comes out of nowhere (Join Us (And Die), Do You Want to Play, The Summoning)

The “smoke club” gesture

That part of the musical where a main character almost dies but then is saved by a someone appearing on stage. (Paul + McNamara, Lex + McNamara, Pete + Max)

Then there's that one character who's morality was already questionable but then they give into the eldritch gods without any supernatural coercion (Prof. Hidgens, Linda Monroe, Grace Chastity)

Those precious few seconds where you think everything is going to be alright but the apocalypse lives on

Oh, and Paul Matthews and Emma Perkins finding each other… as they always do

"I'm straight" "I'm gay" okay and I've never known darker times??? And I've covered the protests live at the hatchetfield kennel??? I'm am Dan reynolds??? With action news weekdays at 10pm??

If you guys liked the whole "Stephs flannel matches Peter's suspenders and bow tie" thing then this costuming detail is in tgwdlm gonna fuck you up.

When we get our first scene with Paul and Emma, the two are dressed in their respective main outfits. These are the ones people tend to associate with them.

But throughout the show, as they get closer and bond, their outfits become more and more similar. Pretty soon Emma's lost the apron

Then at the professor's house, Paul loses the jacket

and by the time McNamara is infected, Paul has his sleeves rolled up and Emma's bow tie has come undone.

At this point, the two are at their most aesthetically similar, and also the closest they've been the entire show. This is moments before the helicopter crash and their failed kiss. They remain this way for a good chunk of time...until Paul comes back

It's like some fast-paced foreshadowing. Emma remains in her changed state, the same as her character, but Paul is back to square one. He's wearing the same outfit he was when they met, and they no longer align. She doesn't know who he is anymore.

I don't know if this was intentional (and if it was, no one explained it to Jon) but it plays out so damn well.

Fantasy and fairytales (think legend and labyrinth) (favourite fairytales include the goose girl, the tin soldier and Cinderella)

My music taste is very varied but I listen to musical theatre, opera, classical music and all sorts of stuff

My hobbies include singing, embroidery, watercolours, sewing, watching starkid musicals
