The only prince who would have valid reasons to renounce his royal title is Ramil because his title is what kept him trapped in the abuse and protected Rachata with the silence of all families, and he's the only one who didn't. This show is basically a joke but it's so poorly written that's it's not even funny and nobody understood it's purpose.

all I wanted from the ending episode of The Next Prince series was for Ramil to abdicate and tell his dad to stfu and go off to Paytai and beg for his forgiveness ON HIS KNEES and go live in the woods or some shit.

The fact that I got EXACTLY THAT will forever be funny asf because that doesn't happen a lot lol

ramil and paytai, you deserve so much more than the narrative gave you and i hope you know how much i love you.

I'm sorry but it's not like they don't have the capacity to properly showcase and develop such complex characters/relationships, the character's can be flat and they would still be unable to develop them. Just look at most characters, lot of them were just stereotypes and still got a underwhelming ending, cheap and completely insufficient.

so whos gonna go into the DMD building hold the staff hostage and make them do a special episode focusing on ramilpaytai and their relationship and process. bc why have we got 14 episodes and have still NO idea how anything went down for them. like im glad for the ending but im still left with so many questions and im disappointed how badly their storyline was handled like if u don’t have the capacity to properly showcase and develop such complex characters/relationships then maybe don’t start it

Charan finding out who killed his mother and his reaction and acceptance.

Ramil's backstory of abuse since he was a kid til now, his mother, and his relationship with his father after losing the fencing match.

Paytai's life outside of his duty beside Ramil, where was he? Which place did he paint?

Calvin's relationship with his parents and the private consequences of his disobedience.

Rachata's relationship with his sister which was Tharin's wife and was killed by Wasin. Did he love her? Did Tharin and him always hate each other? Did this was one of the things who made him hate Tharin?

Where are all the mothers FOR GOD SAKE!!!

If we only had 14 episodes of 1 hour and a half to tell us all of that!!!!!!!!!!

Paytai's backstory as the son of a politician is super interesting.

Calvin being the second prince who didn't even want to study art until he met Jay and became invested is super wholesome.

Ava and Khanin having bestie pyjama face-time calls is super cute.

If only we had thirteen other episodes to explore these backstories and relationship dynamics— OH WAIT!

ramil's breakdown after meeting paytai because can after everything paytai's first instinct was to ask him if he received any punishments. paytai knows what ramil must have gone through in his absence and that hit ramil the most because he just realised the intensity of paytai's love for him in contrast to what his father did when he fell down and hurt his leg idk where I was going with this but I'm just so moved by the whole thing
