i like double spacing because it helps me read better. my eyes are not good. they’re actually very very bad. yeah, i could get an extension that double spaces all text, i could change the device settings to make my text bigger, and while i do, why do i have to compensate and compromise for someone else’s disability. is my visual impairment not valid enough for you? if i said that people who have reading difficulties should using their phone’s screen reader, would i be labeled evil? like this conversation will literally go nowhere. let’s all just be better to ourselves. and if you’re not affected by double spacing then please don’t add in your two cents.

very shady, but really!!! i think everyone should take an improv class or try doing some improv games with friends! it'll help people with thinking on the spot and creating engaging scenes with their rp partners

k!!! what you said re: acting and rping is actually so insightful HAHA i've been in theatre but in the production side of things and every time i see an actor go... idk how to tap into this character! i sometimes just think. wow. more actors need to get into roleplaying or at least a tabletop rpg because wdym you don't know how to determine what your character's motivations are?

about this post! i'm lucky that i haven't came across anyone who has said that because it would make me flip OIAJGIAJGA but i do know that's a serious thing about actors, especially new ones/influencers who get into acting. a lot of them treat it as something easy and don't try to put in the work that goes into it, aka the necessary character work. even if it's for fun like with community theatre, you should always treat it seriously and put in the effort to understand the character that you're playing. really think about your interactions with the other actors on stage and your intentions.

when i was in college, we did this play called "she kills monsters" which is a d&d play and our dramaturgy team (LOVE THEM!) had us play d&d to understand the play better. for a lot of our actors, that was their first time playing d&d and they loved it. not only did it help them understand the characters that they're playing, but it also help them as actors and to have fun. to be silly and not give a fuck about anything. the same could be said about online roleplaying, but tabletop rpgs

you know, despite the bullshit known as tumblr rpc, i do love this community and the people i've met. i love writing with other people, i love looking through the tags for a rp, i love seeing interest checks, i love seeing gif packs and resources in the tags, i love all the masterlists that we have, i just really love tumblr rping!!! it's because of tumblr rp that i met my current group of friends who i love dearly and know will be with me forever and ever. so yeah, not to be a sap, i do love it here, even if you guys can be assholes <3
