Another kitchen knife has been added to my Etsy shop. This one is a design that I made start of the summer. Elegant and beautifully curved high carbon steel knife with padauk handle secured with brass rivets. This is perfect for utility kitchen knife. With its curved edge, it cuts easily meat, vegetablets, fruits and herbs.

Some new items added to my Etsy shop! This cleaver is forged from high carbon steel, with wenge and curly birch handle. The handle is made in oktagon shape which provides better grip when cutting something slippery like fish. Curved edge of the blade makes it perfect for cutting not only meat but vegetables and herbs also.

I'm back to the workshop from vacation. Got some new ideas up in my sleeves and new things coming up! Today I have tested up some new design like this Ukko's Axe. Here in Finland we didn't have norse gods like Thor or Odin, but our own ones. Our main god is Ukko, meaning old man. He is the god of thunder, swinging his axe at the sky when he was pissed off, making the thunder and lighting... So very very frightning.

Market feelings from John Smith metal festifal from last weedend. Great people and atmosphere once again.

New ring design out of the forge. This little serpent is forged from stainless steel. First change to get one of these is at John Smith metal festifal at Laukaa, Jyväskylä (Finland). After that, next week, I'll be adding this to My Etsy shop.

Everyone has a different style of coming up with new things. I have noticed long time ago that just sitting down and drawing some designs isnt for me. Over the years the inspiration might just come to me when im working on something else. If I have time, I stop what I was currently doing and start working on the new idea. Does any of you have the same thing?

New necklace added to my Etsy shop! A double-edged barbarian axe, or "Tappara" as it is known here in Finland. Mostly these are portraited on fantasy, at the hand of hyborean barbarians or wielded by roaring superhuman space viking werewolves in the name of the Emperor. There were some historically found ones like Greece Labrys. Nowadays thou these are used by regular lumberjacks. You can find this and other my items at my Etsy shop
