That's a completely valid feeling man, you're not alone on that one. speaking as someone who has to live with a conservative mother that thinks you must die the same way you are born as which sucks

i wish you godspeed in eventually trying to find your inner peace in a way where you don't feel bad about the way you are because of the fear of being rejected by those who once raised you. I understand how hard it feels to be LGBTQ+ in a household (or just having to live with that family member) where you can't be yourself and need to instead pretend to be someone you're not just to please said people

It hurts man, figuring out a gender for yourself is hard but revealing to the others your inner beauty is even harder when said people cannot perceive your beauty and instead judge it as unacceptable

but please don't lose hope yet, you're not alone in the battlefield for validation. please remember you will always be valid as a human being

Being non-binary is like. Strangers will call me “ma’am” and “miss” and “young lady” on an almost daily basis. And that’s fine. It’s annoying, and it makes me wanna flip a table sometimes, but I don’t care. I don’t care. Why should I? They’re strangers. They’re just drops in the sea of the people I meet, the people I walk past in the street every day. I’m never gonna see them again, so why bother? I know my worth, I know who I am. I don’t need validation from a bunch of grownups I don’t even know the names of calling me “ma’am”. Besides, as sad as it is to admit, most people don’t know what non-binary means. Correcting them and trying to explain that every time would be tiresome, counterproductive and sometimes even dangerous. So I’d much rather keep my mouth shut than get into an argument with some stranger I don’t even care about.

But when my own mother tells me repeatedly that “you’re a woman, you’re a woman” and she won’t stop calling me her daughter, when my father tells the waiter— who’d been calling me “sir” for the good part of the evening because they thought I was a dude— that I’m his daughter, that “oh my daughter isn’t done with her meal yet”, without even giving me a chance to correct the waiter myself, or to simply choose whether I want to correct them, because we’re talking about me here and I alone should have a say on the matter, when they’d both been telling me my entire teenagehood that I’m “becoming a woman” every time some part of my puberty that is considered inherently feminine would hit, etc, etc.

That hurts.

I wish they would just have given me the opportunity as a kid to express myself however I wanted to, instead of assuming. And sure, I was born in the 2000s, being non-binary wasn’t “a thing” back then, in the eyes of society. The word “transsexual” was still being used by a good portion of cis people. But even if I’d been a trans dude, life would’ve been so much easier for me, if the world around me (and as a kid my parents were pretty much my whole world) had given me a chance to just choose how to express myself. With that, maybe today I wouldn’t be scared of coming out to my parents, just because I fear their reaction to finding out their precious daughter is alien to them now. That maybe she was alien to them her whole life and they had no idea.

I am here once again to post things that i enjoy because apparently god i throwing me into an arc of "wait. . .it's not neurotypical stuff to think of 1 single character for almost 9 years?"

I also feel like throwing an update about myself, we're on that run for an actual accurate mental diagnosis cuz apparently there's like a SHIT ton of symptoms that don't make sense at all with BPD and i found out that this shit is wacky considering that AFAB people tend to get diagnosed with bipolar disorder instead of a more accurate one.

I don't really feel like posting stuff every day like it's a serious business so we're keeping the model of

i wake up, suddenly, "woah!! i rember!!" then i dump everything i have to offer and disappear without elaborating further

and i have to admit to you guys, my brain does not work properly with fanarts, it usually feels more comfortable and more

whenever i post oc content rather than fanarts, like, yeah i could draw fanarts but my brain sorta shits itself whenever i draw something that is not sora (my oc) or any other of my ocs. i guess i wasn't made to be one of those hip cool artists that spit cool fanarts all the time every day.

So sorry for the public that came here expecting me to draw fanart all the time, the reason why i have been drawing those fanarts is because the characters in question look too similar to Sora to the point my brain temporarily hyperfixated on them. Kinda weird ig? but that's how my brain works, i swear.

well i am about to show you what it is

yeah it's actually art nouveau, i got too hyperfixated on the art style. i am sorry but this art movement is really cool, we should go back to it wdohwdiuhd

but for real tho, i am studying the history of design and one of the things that showed up was art nouveau and it instantly attracted me like a magnet because "woah! flowy lines! flowers! nature!" and also because i honestly believe this art style can more or less fit within my art style itself

let's throw all technology away and go back to lithography /j

oh yeah i also made a fpe oc because why not? his full name is "custodial sam" but he is known in the school as "mr.clean" (yeah i couldn't resist making this joke, it was bound to happen)

He goes by (He/They) and is pretty much non-binary

have you ever wondered who has to clean the bloodsplatter the teachers cause at school? well now you get to know who does the job

his face is half hidden by his hat, he looks like a not so nice guy at first glance but he presents himself as a cool guy to talk to. he actually got this job thinking it'd be a simple and ordinary clean the school and put things into order type of job but as soon as he found out what the job actually is he became less and less outgoing, just following orders and hoping he will never to worry about being the next victim. He honestly thinks that not getting attached (friendship wise) to the students is the best way to deal with the fact he might have to one day clean what was left of them

i also couldn't resist but make mr.clean friends with mr.demi, he thinks he is a funny guy despite all that anxiety he's got, he enjoys talking to him from time to time to pass time whenever he isn't needed at the corridors to clean up any mess. Mr.Clean thinks that this thing of playing music is really cool and as any janitor in any media, he loves listening to his music while doing "normal" cleaning

hi hiiiii! i know i havent been active on tumblr but i feel like my followers deserve justice with content so have a little concept art ive made with the idea of steampunk stuff

one is a chandelier, the other is a lamppost. these concepts were originally made for one of my college classes but i honestly can see these things being used in my worldbuilding. i plan on making more posts, its just that i dont wanna add too many topics in 1 single thing

sometimes i forget that i actually have the skill to make animations as long as i feel patient and determined, have a silly!

just 2 little guys, this animation actually got created after receiving an idea from someone to make a shitpost based on the fact that nozumos (a species that i created for my stories) have a monochrome palette sometimes

everybody's gangsta until someone suddenly starts going black and white palette (like first era cartoons lol)

the lip sync in this animation was a pain to make but it was worth the try
