My Ideal Woman 2

Since it's Valentines Day time again, I have decided to come out of my shell and talk about the kind of girl I would love to have as a lover. It also helps that I'm sick with the flu right now and can't work. So bear with me here.

First up, NO CHURCHAHOLICS/BIBLE THUMPERS. Don't get me wrong, but I'm not the type that wants to spend EVERY AND EACH Sunday in church. I have a very Rick and Morty-styled relationship with God. In which God as Rick brings the abuse and I as Morty just sit there and take it.

Next up, and those who know me know what I'm about to say: she's gotta LOVE going barefoot. I want a girl who loves flip-flops over sneakers. I love girls who wear flip-flops when they enter a restaurant, then they slip them off before they chow down.

Being smart would also be great. I also love smarts. Maybe even a nerd like me. It would be really cool if she liked video games. Video games, like Mario, certain Sonic games, Pac-Man, you know that kind of thing. I like the idea of a girl I could take to Dave and Buster's. NO CALL OF DUTY OR GTA PLEASE. NONE OF THAT STUFF.

Now, about looks. For hair I like short spiky hair, wavy hair, and frizzy hair. Hair color? Blonds, redheads, black hair, rainbow hair. I like them all. I also dug girls with glasses.

I would love to do cons with her. We would dress up as Sonic and Amy. Or maybe Viewtiful Joe and Bayonetta to represent Hideki Kamiya/Platinum Games. That would be great.

What would a typical date be like? Well on our days off from work, we would hit the book stores and comic book shops. Maybe buy a collectible or two. Then some lunch at a nice quiet restaurant. Maybe some Chinese, pizza, or BBQ. After that, we would get together with friends to hang out wherever we want that day. My lady can have drinks and I would just have water or soda. Then after that we would go home. As night falls, we would take off our shoes and socks, get into our PJs, get in bed and read a book or a comic book together. After a while, we would hit the lights and snuggle to sleep.

So, that's my ideal partner. What's your?

iPhone It In

Who thinks the new iPhone X is stupid, raise your hand. The idea of a 1000 American dollar phone is crazy. With a 1000 bucks I could....

-feed and clothe the homeless

-build a low-end computer

-buy a lot of sliced cheese

-buy that pen display I have had my eye on

-build a really good costume for PAX or Comic Con

-buy groceries for a couple of months

-get married and throw a small wedding (yeah, like that's EVER going to happen)

-go to the used game store and buy an old game console and a ton of games

-buy a 1000 bucks worth of Steam games and DLC

-buy a ton of apple pie and throw an pie party

-buy enough chocolate to give somebody diabetes

The point I'm making is, Apple is cray-cray if they think I'm going to buy a phone that costs 1000 bucks.

For Your Consideration: Cuphead

Hey guys. Today, I thought I would talk about a new game that just hit Xbox One and Steam last week. It’s called Cuphead. As a fan of old school animation and old school jazz music, I fell in love with this game immediately when I first saw it. And now that I have played it, I truly love it.

Basically, if you are a fan of games such as Contra, Gunstar Heroes or Metal Slug, you will love Cuphead. It plays like those games, but much more brutal than any Contra game ever. You will be immersed in a beautiful cartoon world that looks, sounds and feels like a Fleischer Brothers cartoon from the 30's. EVERY SINGLE THING in the game is hand drawn animation, with not even a single 3D model in place. The music is big band jazz, adding to the style.

The idea of the game is that Cuphead and his brother Mugman lost a bet agaisnt The Devil and now must do his bidding, and ultimately fight The Devil himself. So yeah. It's basically a three way cross between Contra, old Popeye cartoons, and Devil May Cry. (Unfortunately, Dante is not in this game.)

To simply put it: Cuphead is truly something special. The Golden Age of Animation reborn better than ever. You can grab the game on Xbox One, Windows Store, and Steam. So what you are waiting for? GO GET IT! It's a swell day for a swell battle! Hi-de-ho!

Nudist Witches on your Computer

I been hearing rumors that Bayonetta 1 is coming to PC. Fine by me. After what happened to Scalebound, Platinum needs some quick cash to help them get back in the game. Porting Bayo 1 sounds good. I just hope that everybody realizes that Bayo2's NEVER EVER coming to PC, since Nintendo owns the rights to that game. Oh, well. Can't have everything.

Besides, everyone knows why we all want Bayo on PC. Two words: NUDE MOD. I wouldn't mind that. That and a barefoot mod too. With a menu that lets you pick which color Bayo and Jeanne Arbuckle's toenails would be. That would be HOT. Yes, I'm into feet. Who isn't? Anywho. Can't wait for Bayo to hit Steam!

Hello, friends! I gave a seminar on Adobe Flash last night, and figured I’d also put the slides online for anyone who was interested in learning the program! Because of file size/bandwidth limitations, I can’t upload any of the example FLA’s, but you could easily find alternatives on YouTube. The dog pictures also made more sense in context. A New Computer Means A Fresh Start

Well, it’s done. I finally built my new computer. In fact, I’m posting this from the new computer. And what an ADVENTURE building this crazy thing was. For my new computer, I went with the following parts:

CPU: Intel Core i7-6700 3.4 GHz Quad-Core Processor

CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO CPU Cooler

Motherboard: MSI Z270 Xpower Gaming Titanium LGA1151 ATX Motherboard

Memory: Crucial 32GB Ballistix Sport DDR4 2400 MHz UDIMM Memory Module Kit (4 x 8GB)

Storage: WD Black Desktop 2TB SATA

Video Card: NVidia GeForce GTX 1080 Graphics Card

Case: Corsair SPEC-02 ATX Mid Tower Case

Power Supply: Antec 650W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply

Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 Home (64-bit, OEM DVD)

Wireless Network Adapter: ASUS 802.11ac Dual-Band Wireless-AC1900 PCI-E Adapter

Thermal Compound: Arctic Silver 5 Thermal Compund

At first, my father and I put everything together which took some time. First I put in my CPU with Thermal Compound. Next came the CPU Cooler. Once we put in the CPU and the Cooler on the motherboard, we tried putting it in the case. As we put it in the case, the RAM sticks keep popping out. We did some research and found out that you have to press down with your thumb on the RAM sticks until you hear them snap in place. Then came wiring the thing together and managing all the wires.

Finally the moment of truth came. We hooked it up to my old Cintiq 13HD and I hit the power button on the case.

Nothing.

Just nothing. NOTHING had turned on. Not even the power supply. I hit the power button five times before giving up and having some pizza for lunch.

A few slices of pizza later, we started testing each and every Godforsaken wire and part that we had. Maybe we plug something in wrong. Nope. We followed the instructions to the letter. Maybe the RAM sticks popped out again. Nope. We did everything right. Dad then went through each part with his volt meter (he used to be an electrician when he was young, so he knows a lot about wiring) and a few tricks he knows. First he tricks the power supply into turning on. The power supply works. Next the case wires. They work. Maybe the motherboard's damaged? As it turns out, we had used the wrong adapter for the internal power cord. Once we plugged it in to the board itself and hit the switch, it fired on. I installed Windows 10 using an old USB DVD Drive and my as-old-as-The Simpsons Wireless Adapter which is SUPER SSSSLLLLOOOWWWW. After that, I installed the Anti-Virus and my new Network Adapter and now I'm getting downloads at lightspeed.

I'm in the process of downloading all the games I had on Steam, along with all my

emulators and roms, such as all the Gamecube games that I play in the Dolphin emulator. Did I mention that this computer can play F-ZERO GX with ONLY A FEW hiccups? Yes. Really. The dream is real. If this computer can play F-ZERO GX, I'm sure it can play the Sonic Generations Unleashed Project.

I also need to get an internal Blu-Ray Drive, so I can watch my Rick and Morty Blu-Rays on the big screen. For the time being until I get my new bigger Cinitq Pro, (you reading this, Wacom? MAKE BIGGER CINTIQ PROS! PRICE IS NO PROBLEM!) I have it hooked up to the HDTV in my bedroom. Once I get my Blu-Ray Drive, I will make a video about my computer. It's name? The Ultra-Hyper Prototype 1! Created by Arikado Corp!
