What a shift in atmosphere, yet the magic only seems to grow with the excitement -- shall you share a laugh and cheer with someone dear?

The dance floor is lively, and all around you stop and clap at the culmination of yet another song, yet the spirit rises immediately again as a new man climbs the stage to stand before the orchestra.

"The lead from the Opera!" you hear from somewhere close by, and the way he stands before the crowd, and how the orchestra gazes at him expectantly, you know he is about to sing.

And sing he does.

What a glorious voice, lilting and genuine, and as you listen, your eyes wander and land upon a certain someone. How beautiful they look when basked under the chandelier's light, and how you wish to see the truth behind their mask. Perhaps you shall approach the subject of your heart's longing and ask for a dance?

The Winter Room is beautiful and frozen, yet the chill of the snow and ice around you does not deter you from entering. The air is warm around you -- pleasingly so -- despite this, and the snow moves like feathers around your feet as you walk forward. Ice sculptures stand in various places around the large room, each with their own presence: a woman pouring water out of a vase, a deer glancing over its shoulder, a lion rearing up with a ferocious roar stretching its features.

Yet one in particular catches your eye.

She is delicate in frame but strong in presence, naked, reaching with both arms toward the ceiling. Her eyes are pointed, focused, and there is an unreadable expression on her face. What is she reaching toward, you can't help but wonder? And why does this woman stir you so?
