I did, and I’m not even surprised. Mark Tomlinson has showed more than once that his role as father it’s limited to selfies, talk about familiar issues publicly and invade fandom spaces in order to get attention. 

About the excessive tanning problem with Lottie and the twins, I think it’s pretty clear that they will never acknowledge it and they have no interest in educating themselves nor hearing what poc have to say. I personally have run out of energy and while I still call out their actions, I have understood that not everyone is willing to admit their racist attitudes/actions and they won’t apologizes nor change their behavior.

I think what we can do is stop supporting people like them, I can’t wrap my head around the idea of friends of mine, who agree that the whole tanning issue is damaging for poc, still following them and liking their pictures. It’s like “yeah, I support whatever you say, but i won’t even unfollow them”. And the funny things is that most of their followers only follow them because they’re Louis sisters, like they don’t even care what they do, what they promote, the type of person they are, they will follow them blindly because they’re related to Louis. Right now 40 of the people I follow on instagram (most of them friends who know how I feel about this whole thing) follow Lottie and like her pictures. 

Unless they see an impact in their likes and followers, they will not care about what we say and even if that happens, I can’t see them caring enough about it to actually educate themselves and see a change in their behavior.
