Tired of the antisemitic caricatures in Minecraft?

It's well known the villagers, illagers, and witches in Minecraft are stuck with an incredibly antisemitic design that despite hope, will probably never be changed. I've looked for a resource pack that only changed those elements (keeping the base game look), and was non-optifine friendly, but found none, so I made my own.

So I introduce Antisemitism Begone!

(Version 1.19 but should work for all versions that include the redesigned villagers) It's far from a perfect solution, but it satisfies my main personal annoyances (I am Jewish myself), and I'm certainly open to any improvements that can be made.

Unfortunately, there's many things I wish I could change but am unsure how (such as re-naming the golems to constructs, or changing how the Ominous Banner looks), but my knowledge only goes so far, and I'm pretty clueless when it comes to these things. So for now it's only visual elements that are changed. If I figure out how to do these things in the future I will certainly update it.

(Edit as of 10/9/22) I have figured out how to change the name from Golems to Constructs. Currently supported languages are English (US/UK), Spanish (Spain/Mexico) and German. (Edit as of 2/9/2023) French (France/Canada) is now a supported language. (Thank you for @bouillefriend here on Tumblr for the translation help!)

Villagers:

- monobrow removed + eye color changed to a less neon green - nose removed - mouth shortened + fixed texturing to fit

Iron Golem

- nose removed - monobrow removed + eyes changed to match that of the Villagers + flowers changed to red to match the poppies they drop Update 1: +/- Renamed to Iron Construct

Snow Golem

Update 1: +/- Renamed to Snow Construct

Wandering Trader:

- removed monobrow - nose removed + eye color changed to match + fixed texturing to fit

Zombie Villager

- monobrow removed (eyebrows now angry) - nose removed + eye color changed to a slightly darker red + mouth shortened + fixed texturing to fit

Witch

- removed monobrow (eyebrows now angry) - removed nose and wart + fixed texturing to fit + Eyes darkened in color

Illagers (Grouped)

- removed nose (except for Ravager mob) + mouth turned into a frown + eyes changed to match the witches

nose removed monobrow removed eyes changed to same green as Villager's flowers changed to red to match the poppies they drop

wilbur soot is reigen arataka. suave businessman, sure people say he’s a twink, a tad pathetic if you think about him for more than five seconds. he moved to utah after a failed burger place.

but joe hills? joe hills is cecil gershwin palmer. joe hills is a cryptid enigma who has not only stared into the void and had it stare back, but is friends with it. they have tea together every saturday, it’s lovely. he didn’t have to move to utah, because he was born and records from nashville tennessee. he wears lime green, baffles all who go near him. he wears suits, overthrows monarchies in his mind, successfully held a coup. people draw him sexy. he sings, recites haiku’s, and if you need any more proof, go look at @joe-hills-said. joe hills is all. joe hills is best.

and we all know who between reigen and cecil wins. who is the best. and it’s not reigen. reigen is a twitter sexyman

but cecil? well, cecil is THE tumblr sexyman. and if joe hills is cecil, well… it’s obvious, isn’t it?
