really dumb question, but where does it explicitly say billford is canon? I mean, I get that the language used to describe their relationship can closely resemble how one would speak of an abusive/(romantic) relationship (bill isolating ford, bill calling Mcgucket the “third wheel”, “you can call me anything but late for dinner”, bill referencing his experiences with ford in those pages about love advice, bill being very controlling of ford, bill isolating ford, etc.), but where does it explicitly say that they had something? Couldn’t it just be allegory? Couldn’t all that flirting just be one of bill’s personality traits? I’m really confused

how I feel being several years late to those fandoms that had their peak in late 2010s-very early 2020s
