Wisdom from Uncle Iroh
Tumblr media
It is important to draw wisdom from different places. If you take it from only one place it becomes rigid and stale.
Pride is not the opposite of shame, but its source. True humility is the only antidote to shame.
Many things that seem threatening in the dark become welcoming when we shine light on them.
There are reasons each of us are born. We have to find those reasons.
Life happens wherever you are, whether you make it or not.
While it is always best to believe in one’s self, a little help from others can be a great blessing.
Sometimes life is like this dark tunnel. You can’t always see the light at the end of the tunnel, but if you just keep moving, you will come to a better place.

There is nothing wrong with letting people who love you, help you.
You will find that if you look for the light, you can often find it. But if you look for the dark, that is all you will ever see.
There’s nothing wrong with a life of peace. I suggest you think about what it is that you want from your life, and why.
Protection and power are overrated. I think you are very wise to choose happiness and love.
Sometimes the best way to solve your own problems is to help someone else.
You have light and peace inside of you. If you let it out, you can change the world around you.

About Parents
If you had abusive parents there's probably nothing worse than the thought of becoming like them.
But you know what! Don't deny the good parts of you that resemble them. Just a few parts of it doesn't make the big picture. Take what you want from them, the good things only and move on.
It's not bad to be a little bit like them as long as you don't do the same things with the traits given by them.

Things I’ve learned
1) You need no particular reason to treat yourself
2) And nobody to go with if you wanna go outside
3) If your depression tells you it won’t be as fun as the last time, thats ok. Do it still. If you like it, it doesn’t matter how much
4) Theres no reason to live upon anybody elses time schedule
5) Your body always knows better than your mind whats good for you
6) Cutting people out of your life will be hard, but it will make you free and you won’t have to care about what they feel about you and your actions anymore
7) Your attitude only is defining how sexy you are
8) Food and Enjoyment is worth more than materialistic stuff
9) Some people are happier without a relationship and thats ok
10) No matter how good your intentions are, forcing people to do anything doesn’t help anyone

Never be ashamed for getting something you want or need.
Buy those clothes, if they make you feel beautiful. No matter if they or you fit into what society wants to see.
Get yourself those sweets. It’s not about weight, it’s about enjoyment.
Go on and walk into that sexshop. Your physical needs are nobodys buisness, and the staff in there won’t judge you or else they wouldn’t work there.
Go to the Doctor. There here for helping you, even if it turns out to be nothing serious. Your health is important and being cautious is better than being sick.
There’s no age limit to enjoy yourself. Go to Disneyland, buy those toys and watch these shows if you like them. The world is serious enough, why spend your freetime with that sick shit too?

It doesn't fucking matter how long you know a person. If you feel uncomfortable, not respected or like you're just getting used time is worth nothing.

Honestly, just buy whatever makes you happy. You wanna wear those heels? get those heels. Thinking of getting a sex toy? Just do it, it’s your natural desire. It doesn’t matter what the hell others think. They are just frustrated they don’t dare to follow their own goals and wishes.

This remembers me of a very important quote I once read.
‘No will make them angry, but it will make you free’
It’s totally okay to say “you know what, this isn’t making me happy” and to walk away from whatever or whoever is keeping you from the happiness you deserve
