my most self indulgent au in the world is putting naoto in persona 6, specifically after a persona 5 where he was in tokyo investigating the phantom thieves, seeing the world almost end to a malevolent god for a second time. then it occurs to him that the world must be REALLY fragile to get so close to destruction twice within the span of 5 years, and he also realizes that he may be one of if not the only person to know so much about these events. and yes he does get an unhealthy complex about it.
