Yesterday I strolled the streets of Notting Hill, walked the length of Portobello Road... and I took a bunch of you with me on Periscope, my new favourite thing! As I stood outside this house I realised I couldn't photograph it without cutting everyone off from my broadcast, so instead I've used the beady eye of @juliabesidethesea, who has snapped it perfectly. Loved our Periscope walk yesterday... I ended it just before I settled in at @gailsbakery with tea, cake and this month's PLBC book. Portobello knocks my socks off. This shop front in Soho always sends my heart strings pinging - my lusting over Lina Store (and everything inside it) continues... This Italian deli imports and sells authentic Italian produce - cured meats, cheeses, pasta etc... And amazing Italian coffee. 'From Burrata to Bottarga, Gnocchi to 'Nduj'! 💕🧀🍋🍞 (at Lina Stores)

If you are a cheese lover like me, then you need to head here immediately! @lafromagerieuk is an emporium of cheese, stocking all kinds of cheeses from all over the world and this pic of their #Marylebone branch was snapped by @kseniaskos. The owner, Patricia, discovered her love of cheese up a mountain whilst she was skiing in Meribel. She returned to London with a wheel of Beaufort Chalet d'Alpage which she then sold out of her garden shed! She graduated to a stall in Camden and now has two shops - the other is in Highbury. Both have cheese maturing cellars an walk-in cheese rooms... I'm getting hungry just thinking about it! 🧀🐭 💕 (at La Fromagerie)

Yesterday I had a few meetings in Soho, and in between two of them I settled myself here, in one of my favourite cafés with a coffee and fought the urge to eat one of their amazing cakes! I had been doing a bit of periscoping around Soho too, which is an amazing thing! People from all over the world joined me on my journey and I love that I can bring London to people who aren't here and often have never been. So I watched back my periscope film, sipped my coffee, did some SERIOUS people watching and let the vibe of this amazing little spot wash over me. Later I met a dear friend and we popped to @mildredsrestaurant for lunch. And that is a whole other story of deliciousness... 💕☕️✨ (at Fernandez & Wells)

The weather here has turned a little gloomy and mild, so I'm thinking of gathering my notebooks and laptop together, to head here for a day of writing, picture editing, planning and coffee...
